what would he say?THis is a pretty good one some one wrote
Qoute:This is the best email ever!! If President Bush were to receive it I am
sure he would say
"I am President Bush and I approved this resignation speech!!!"BUSH'S RESIGNATION SPEECH
The following 'speech' was written recently by an ordinary Maine-iac [a
resident of the People's Republic of Maine]. While satirical in nature, all
satire must have a basis in fact to be effective. This is an excellent piece by a
person who does not write for a living.
The resignation speech George W. Bush should give:Normally, I start these things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans.' Not
doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than
half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that
you're really not fellow Americans any longer.
I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a
lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or
something, let me assure you: There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable
offenses in this office.
The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up
because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of
what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you
are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the
news media.
Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too
damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased
demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots
are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your
economic security.
We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this 'blood for oil' thing.
If I were trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq 's oil
fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don't give me this 'Bush
Lied...People Died' crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I
could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be
'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.
Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods,
same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US
policy before I came into office. Some guy named ' Clinton ' established that
policy. Bet you didn't know that t, did you?Now some of you morons want to be led by a junior senator with no
understanding of foreign policy or economics, and this nitwit says we should attack
Pakistan, a nuclear ally. And then he wants to go to Iran and make peace with
a terrorist who says he's going to destroy us. While he's doing that, he
wants to give Iraq to al Qaeda, Afghanistan to the Taliban, Israel to the
Palestinians, and your money to the IRS so the government can give welfare to
illegal aliens, who he will make into citizens, so they can vote to re-elect him.
He also thinks we just need to sit down and talk to Iran and things would be
better (what the hell do you think we have been doing behind the scenes), and
we should stop our foreign aid to Israel .. Did you sleep through high school
or what? You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the
cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models
squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists
wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to outspend and out-tech
them.
That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if
they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they
weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they
are. They want to kill you, and the ba****s are all over the globe.
You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the
United States since September 11. But you're not. That's because you've got
no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement,
and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole
mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight.
I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight
amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.'
Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through
the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should
last a few months, a few years, tops.( yup this is what most think from all the belly acking I have read and heard)
Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every
time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a
cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang it, you might just as well Fed
Ex a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.
In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the
Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times, USA Today, or on
NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would
rather watch American Idol or Dancing with Stars.
I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be
there t o bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's
below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.
I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own
wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were
I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.
So I quit. I'm going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house
down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully
self-sufficient for years. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as
soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe
I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.
Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new
President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have
a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart
enough to turn this thing around in 2008.
So that's it. God bless what's left of America .
Some of you know what I mean. The rest of you, kiss off..
PS - You might want to start learning Farsi, and buy a Koran.

Lakota,
I'm pretty sure GWB just might approve! An excellent satire of his "resignation" speech. Tomorrow is the day and I sure hope that all of the hype from the biased media doesn't keep good people from going to the polls and casting their votes. Folks, this thing is not as much of a runaway as the media wants you to believe so regardless of whom you vote for, vote! You all know who I will be voting for and want to win but it is still everyone's right as it is, more importantly, every one's responsibility to vote!

I received this through email several weeks ago. Sometimes, you know that a President would just like to send this kind of letter to the American people - I'm sure at times it seems like no matter what you do, someone is going to criticize and you can never keep everyone happy!

..yup, we talked to stalin and hitler too, and were too stupid to prevent what happened later.. but you know, George W. has been enemy #1 for the last 8 years, and burying conservatism and conservatives is really all that matters.. Once the executive and legislative branch is dominated by these very forward looking folks.. we're bound to see some changes alright..! Actually we're forgetting how these same folks have dominated congress for the last two years and how their forward looking ideas have undermined wall street.. {Sure it's a good thing to want everyone to have home ownership.. but you can't strong arm it upon the banks.. it just cannot work.. guess good ole taxpayer will have to get stuck with the bill while there still are taxpayers.. ah yes, these lofty ideas come from our esteemed colleges and universities who are still thinking up new humanitarian things.. like "medical lotteries" and the like..

I would suggest that perhaps there are a lot of people here that hold an alternative view of reality...
It is very likely that Bush has done much that is illegal... see my next post...
And it is likely that he will face many who are seeking his prosecution after he leaves office.
I can well imagine that he is indeed fed up... His approval rate is low and is low for many reasons... gas prices are just one reason...I personally do not blame him for that... I know of at least one Republican, a petrochemical engineer, who believes that Bush caused this whole economic crisis on purpose as he knew that a Democrat would be likely to go into office... kind of a last attempt at revenge... I don't believe this either.
I do however believe that Bush did the wrong thing by going into Iraq, especially without the support of the international community and especially when it was a pre-emptive and thus morally unjust and illegal war according to the majority of the mainline churches. We had, up to then, had a clear personal mandate as peacekeeper in the world community. After that action, we lost some credibility as peacekeepers and this is unfortunate as it has reduced our effectiveness in that area... is also unfortunate that we made that country which was diametrically opposed to fundamentalist Moslems and to the al quida fall now prey to the very thing that that Country's old dictator most fought against and suppressed with his cruelty. It is unfortunate that we played into the hands of Iran in going into that Country and that we also gave all Fundamentalist Moslems a rallying cry and a staging area for furher attacks against us. We now will have to work hard even after the war to uplift that nation's young people as without work there is going too be a large percentage of the young men there who will take up arms against us in revenge.
We are likely to be kicked out of Iraq soon ... at least the government there is requesting that the large majority of our troops leave and this will be true no matter who gets into office... So those of us who wanted time limits will wind up getting them...
We are quite aware that in attacking Iraq, he made us responsible for its clean up and that no total pull out will be possible.
It is highly unlikely that Pelosi will be the head of the Country... as she is a member of the legistlative branch and she will not interfere with the Judical or Executive branches as unlike the President, she can not make signatory statements on bills.

thanks so much for your responce and maybe alot ya say is true ,
But I think as Iraq had a months warning that we were coming in that he got all the weapons out of there and into another country.
Yup we have to do the clean up.
Even have with every war we been in.
It might end up being like the 38th parall that we will have to keep some of our people in the service at borders in that country!

Hi friend...
I have got to tell you that most people in both parties have stated that we entered Iraq in error.
We had people on the ground there monitoring.
They did not see anything...
There are reports that Bush had desired to enter that nation from before he went into office and that he did not want to listen to advisors who told him to refrain. He did not tell the truth to the American people.
Iraq was far from being an immediate threat.
We did not need to have our troops go there.
Iraq did not attack us.
Al Quida more associated with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan attacked us.
Entering Iraq made Iran more powerful.
It also has led to a breeding ground being created for terrorists.
It was rather like a little boy who goes out to where he does not belong and who sees a large bee hive and grabs a large bat with it and then wonders why the bees are angry at him and are stinging him... going after this Nation made even the Moderate Moslems against us. This does not bode well for our national security in the future.

This is good, really good! I have to agree that Bush is probably thinking along these lines right about now, and is probably fed up with us citizens as well! Unfortunately we will have to wait and see what tomorrow will bring and whether or not things will begin to improve in our thoroughly divided and discouraged nation.
