Will you watch the returns tonight to see who wins before you go to bed, or will you wait till in the morning to hear on the news who our next President will be? Me personally, I will be watching the returns pretty late tonight, hoping that the best man wins - though I am still not sure exactly WHO the best man is! LOL I will be voting in an hour or so after the polls open, and then will wait impatiently until the returns start coming in! How about you?

Although I am not American, but I am eager to know the result too! The election had been anticipated for a long time. I also have no idea who will be the future president. I just hope the new president will make our world a better one. Happy posting and have a nice day!

I agree that this is a very important and much anticipated event. And the ripple effect of who wins will be felt world wide, not just here in the US. I will also be watching late into the night. LOL, looks like it will be a very long night!

Ya, it will be a very long night for you. I will be able to knwo the result once I woke up in tomorrow morning here. LoL. I still remember how we are anticipating our election result in the March 2008. I were elated that the opposition party finally breached the strong hold of our ruling party, who had monopoly in their corrupt, racist and cronyism reign in the past 30 years. Therefore, I always hope the election, both local and abroad, will bring good change.

As it turned out, it wasn't too bad. We had a new President elect by 10:00 our time. I did stay up to watch the concession and acceptance speeches, though. At least it is finally over now, maybe we can begin to reunite as a country again.

I'll be turning a TV on around eight o'clock which is when the polls close here in Pennsylvania. I'll watch at least until they call my state which should be early. I think it's pretty much a given that if MCain can't turn Pennsylvania red, he pretty much can't win. If Pennsylvania goes red or I'm not too tired I'll watch the whole thing. I will probably try to watch it all. I just don't want to go to sleep on this one.

I watched till after the concession and acceptance speeches were over. It wasn't too bad, we had a new President elect by 10:00 our time, that would have been 11:00 for you guys.

I'll be watching pretty late, I'm sure. I voted early, so I don't have that to do today. I'm on pins and needles to see who is going to win the Presidential election; but I'm just about the same way to see who my state's next Governor will be. We will either be electing our first female Governor or only our 3rd Republican Governor in the last 100 years! Then I am really wound up about the race for Senator between Kay Hagan and Elizabeth Dole...a nasty campaign all around! I'm also very interested to see if NC will elect Harry Taylor or re-elect Sue Myrick. It's going to be a very interesting night!

I agree, it should be a very interesting night! I am also very impatient to see who wins the election, as well as our state and local election results. I will be watching till I can't keep my eyes open any more, LOL.

I will probably watch pretty late into the night, but doubt that the results will be in before I retire - I'll have to wait until morning to see (if the results are final even then).

I agree with you, I will watch till very late.. probably will go to sleep in front of the TV, LOL. I also doubt we will know the true result until morning though. And I really hope that it isn't weeks before we do again, that would be a mess though I can see it happening.
