obama is going to the white house!!

I see you are in India so you may not be aware that in America, the election isn't decided until after ALL the polls have closed and the votes have been counted. Here in NY it is not even noon yet, our polls opened at 6 am and close at 9pm. On the west coast it is only about 9am right now and the day is early. There are more than 1 hours left for many people to vote. The election has NOT been decided yet. Yes, there are a lot of crowds at the polls and they may be enthusiastic, but we enjoy secret ballots here, so nobody really knows what people are doing in the actual voting booth until after the polls are closed and the votes are counted.

I say that it's far too early to be saying anyone won yet. There's over 9 hours left yet!

If Obama goes to white house I will be very much happy. Because he is a black American. I would be more happy if his ancestors were slaves.Yet obama is going to make history. It was beyond our imgination that a black is American president.But I think if Obama becomes American president there may be change in US internal policy,no change will be happened in foreign policy. Because US foreign policy is controlled by Pentagon and CIA.Let us wait for the future.

We can only hope that he does not. If he does, the hard working American middle class is truly screwed...

apart from their names - Obama vs. McCain.. i know nothing about these two people, and i dont bother myself to find out about them, either)..
but yesterday in our local news.. they showed 'last minute efforts and strong support' Obama is getting from the US top celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Bruce 'The Boss' Springsteen, Jayzee, PuffDiddy, SarahJessicaParker... seems like he's the real favourite to win the seat.. If he does get elected, i just hope that he will become the leader he said he would be...

Yes, he will be going to the white house. The lines are long in record numbers to vote. The bad weather in some states is not keeping voters from voting either. Those that might not have voted before will be the first to vote this year for the presidency. Obama is like a household name and they want a new face for president this time around.

Not saying that McCain in not a good choice but he is to much like Bush for a lot voters. If they had to vote for McCain them might not even vote at all. But where Obama is concerned they are out to vote for him. So your right he is in the white house. Even before it has been announced on tv. He is already in the white house.
