Well I've changed my avatar. Just fpr today though. I am a proud American and especially proud to have voted as well today. This is just my way of showing my patriotism a little bit here. Thanks and get out to vote those Americans that have yet to vote. Thanks all and have a great day/evening as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM PATRIOTIC GRANDPA BOB !!~

Bob, I can't wait until I get my I VOTED sticker! I still have mine on my laptop from the primary. I kept the one from the one before on my car for a long time, and we sold the car. My husband just sticks his in his pocket.

I don't keep mine though. Tonight after I get home from picking the wife up it will be removed. Tell him to wear it this time around. Be an American. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I was wondering this morning if or when you would show your "I Voted" sticker.

It took me awhile. Been busy with the decorating the house outside etc. Chatting with neighbors etc. Dad's home health aide came for his bath etc. So was slow adding the photo. But you knew I'd have a photo of it huh? I am REALLY showing it aren't I? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I want one of those stickers, Grandpa Bob. We don't get anything here, and I do think it's a great idea 'you' have. We've just been through our federal election, and the only thing we get to show, is our pride in the fact that we got out to vote. I understand your avatar change, but will be happy to see your smiling face back again, complete with your new hat.

That's a bummer. Now think of this..... If every polling place gave these stickers out... There's a company somewhere that would make a fortune selling them. An expected 3 plus million voters expected here in Minnesota alone. The old me avatar will return tomorrow. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That's an excellent point you make, about the producing of the stickers creating jobs, etc. So necessary in today's economy.

It says - I'm a Georgia Voter- inside of a peach. My 3y/o niece went with me and helped cast the votes so she also got one!

Yep, We can't sit around complaining all day if we don't vote because it is our faults if we don't vote so if we want to change things make a difference we all need to vote. Then we have the right to complain...lol great avatar buy the way.

I hope that you are happy with the elections results after four days now. I am glad that you did your duty. In my country we always have a high turn out of people who vote during general elections. © ronaldinu 2008

Good for you! I voted too. At about 3pm central time. I think it is a privilege to be able to vote. And I always take advantage of the opportunity. Nothing wrong with a little patriotism.

hi grandpa bob... we had our elections in march this year.. i have never missed to vote.. i have voted only 4 times in my lifetime.. once i even took my baby (a few days old) to voting station with me, because we had no babysitter.. this year i feel there was a lot more excitement, a lot more awareness among the younger voters to go out and vote.. and that really made me happy.. the polling results were really a 'welcomed change' for most of us.. we had the 'oppositions' taking control of 5 out 13 states of the country.. 2 of which is the major economic states.. and i live in one these 'opposition' state. we are really looking forward to the 'changes' promised to us during the election campaign.. this 'new government' have 4 years to prove themselves to us.. and we will sure to watch them closely... i have not really followed the stories on your presidential candidates.. i only know their names.. Obama vs. McCain.. i dont really know what their policies would be when either one of them wins.. but i just hope that whomever wins it.. will bring peace back in the middle east, and help to stabilize the world economy.. because whatever happens in america... effects the small countries on the other side of the world as well...
