What works best? MANY DISCUSSIONS or MANY RESPONSES?

I'm not sure if this is true but from how I understood in what I read from another discussion, you should have a quality discussion that has lots of responses and has a good ranking. So be sure to rate all of your respondents positively and be sure to add everyone as your friends who responds to your discussions. Because you will notice that every time somebody responds to your discussion your discussion will gain exposure in the home tab. Make sure that your responses to discussions is a quality post because users will rate it as well.

Well, personally, a lot of us have learned over time, that you can earn the most in here from posting back to a lot of discussions. What I have found for me that will help me to earn the most, is post back to like at least 30 New discussions if I can with quality responses. Then also try and start at least 2-3 New discussions and I will usually earn somewhere around $1 for that day in earnings as well. What I mean by quality responses, are posting at least 4 lines back to each discussion you respond back too if you can with thoughts responding back to that discussion trying not to copy yourself or others there as well. You should start discussions and wait for responses. In the mean time check others discussions and keep posting responses. Finally you are paid for both. To increase your own earnings you should keep posting as many responses as possible.

It would have to depend on the quality of your discussions I guess. I'd love to post many discussions myself, but I rarely can come up with something interesting to talk about, so most of the time I just respond to discussions. My earnings are like 20 cents to 30 cents per day though. And the only times when I earn 50 cents is when I post a discussion and respond to many of those who've responded to me and when I've added or invited new friends. Earning on mylot is strange, don't try to figure it out anymore. Just keep posting! :)

I guess you should do both.post discussions and make responses.If you wont come up with a discussion,try doing responses, and if you dont find anything interesting to respond on,make a discusiion.i do it that way.but try to participate more in discusiions.because users here in mylot tend to respond to the discussions you made whenever you respond to a discusiion,they made.they are actually helping each other here in mylot.just keep on posting and posting and you will get the hang of it.you will gonna be suprised your already earning big while enjoying!

As a newbie to the site, I'm not sure how the money thing works so I just look around at the discussions, pick the ones I want to respond to, do it and move on. If I have heard something or seen something interesting that day, or if there is a question I want to ask then I start a discussion. I have had some response but I think most mylotters tend to shy away from any discussions started by someone with less than 100 comments or so. So basically I just post and wait to see what happens with the money. No planned agenda or anything.

I think many discussions could help you reach payout quickly. I have read before that if someone respond to one of your discussion you will get paid. For me I try to do both. I post and comment as many as I can. It may be tiring to post response sometimes that I just post some discussions to save me energy. Hope this helps you. Happy Mylotting.

My choice will be 'many responses'. It is not easy to start a new discussion, first of all you have to find out ideas and it should be an interesting one. Getting responses depends upon the other member's interest. By responding to others will give a chance to deal with different issues. Ideas will be there we only need to give our opinion. Another thing, quality is also important. You are senior than me in mylot so I think you know better ideas.

I don't always post new topics and if I do I just limit it to just one discussion so I can answer back to all respondendts with long comments to make them feel I really appreciate and read all their responses. I love reading the responses indeed and making good comments back. Then, most of my time is devoted into participating in my friends and other user's interesting topic. Yesterday I had only one discussion and the response is not huge so huge but I got more than a dollar earning. One thing I learned here is that posting so many topics do not earn for you that much especially if there is no assurance that the topic will appeal to many. So one should not limit herself into posting and posting any idea without even thinking how it could interest many or if the topic is worth being responded to. It's always better to also actively participate in the discussion of others especially of your supportive friends because they are the ones who are deserving. Give and take, take and give and make sure what you are giving are quality ones. That is the key!

Hi ya andak2007 It seems to work better for me when I start a discussion and get lots of responses. I am so behind at the moment that I am trying to respond to my friends discussions and have not been able to start some really good discussions of my own. The last two I started didn't get much response but it was things I was thinking about at the time which I thought othere could really relate to but I guess not a lot of people could!

I beleive both does earn well, but one thing I have realized is that when responding for a discussion jusk make sure that you know that particular discussion and you are obejective in your response as possible, but if you just post a response if even if it is 4 lines or more you will earn nothing, when starting a discussion just makes sure that is a discussion that will create response and an objective discussion this too will earn you good cents. For me I'm not really the starting discussion type, I've probably only started 10 in my whole time in mylot, but who knows, maybe I will start making discussions again. I find it easier and more fun reply to people's topics. :)

Its depend on my mood when there is nothing substantial to say or there is nothing in my mind i go for responding discussions. When there is any topic strikes my mind or i have something to say then i start a new discussion. Starting new discussion or responding to discussion should be of good quality that express your voice or clarifies views with few sentence i think can fetch some decent cents

I'm new here, so actually I just look for what catches my eye. May it be a debate about something, or someone looking for an honest response. Now you have me curious about your converts, and have to go look for them...lol.

Whatever you do the quality and quantity counts a lot here.As Mylot itself says the more descriptive you are the more chances of earning.

Well I guess both things are needed to earn a lot on here. If we start few discussions and earn more responses, of course you will earn a lot. But getting more responses will depend on how interesting your discussions to other members. If you will start more discussions that will pull few responses, you will still earn more if all of the discussions will be responded. The best thing to put in mind is to create, start a discussion that everyone in this community will be interested. Starting one that interest each and everyone, is one of the hardest part of mylotting.

I would choose 1 discussion with many responses because i never have one. I really hope one day one of my discussion can make me eligible to be name at the today's top. Had you ever been there? well, not me.

for me I would have to say responding to discussions. Sometime it can be difficult especially if you can not find anything that interest you. Then what I normally do is try to start something that I think alot of people might be interest in.
