Fashion photographer Rankin took time out from his career to take powerful pictures of people from Congo. He visited a refugee camp with the charity Oxfam and his work is now being exhibited in London. Some of these images a re powerful.

That's why some photographers are properly called artists.

I have been moved by many photos of war and famine in African countries. But one thing that made my heart bleed is this photo graph. This is the epitome of the cruelty of war.I had many sleepless nights over this photo. Thanks for giving me a chance to share my feeling.

I have seen a few pictures from theirs world countries that touch my heart those of children mostly that are sick or starving and need help or the ones at St.Jude being brave and fighting something that they might not survive. It is a shame the over a million people have became homeless because of the years of war. Number 6,8,9,10,12,13 pictures are my favorites 6,9, being a photo of young boys being playful. But all the pictures show a strength in the people that he choose to photograph. It is their will to survive that keeps them alive, because the camp barely has enough food to supply food for all of them properly when most times we take food being in our homes for granted.

Wow! Words cannot express the right things about these pictures. I have seen a lot pictures of people overseas and it makes me feel grateful and count my blessings. I feel sorry for all those people in the Congo especially the children who have to survive in these wars. I cannot phantom it. Thank you for sharing.
