Where did my notifications go???   

It's a severe problem with myLot. I only get notifications on about half of the people that I should. Nothing you can really do about it, unfortunately.

Kathy I have noticed this also, I op eyou get an answer from someone who knows what is going on.

I don't think that I always get notifications either. I just don't worry about it anymore. I really think that myLot has severe glitches sometimes. Oh well.

yep it has been happening to me. So you are not alone. I think somehow my preferences got mixed up so I checked that and made sure I was being notified when one of me friends started a discussion. That is checked but I still am not receiving as many as I used to. If it is any comfort to you this discussion you started was in my inbox.

Hey kathy! It is not something that we have any idea how to
fix! I don't get email notifys from all my friends. I get it
from some people and some people I don't ever get it. They say
that they have my notify "on" but I never get their notifys.
So it has to be something with mylot. I have a yahoo addy
that I use for mylot only. All mylot mail comes into that
addy. I find it is easier for me that way. My other addy is
for other stuff. I don't know what to tell you. I have tried
contacting mylot about it along with the fact that my pm's
don't work if I try to send someone a pm and they haven't
ever fixed it in the five months that I have been here so I
don't know what to tell you. So every now and they when I do
finish my emails I just check the discussions that friends
started and go from there. I know it's annoying but I don't
know what else to tell you.

Well, it happens to me as well. And what I do is to regularly check on those profiles to get updates.

One of the things I did was to talk to those friends via PM. Tell them that I am going to delete their profile from my list. Then add them back and need their help to approve it.

Once that is done, see if the problem still persist. It worked for me so far.

Why not send a ticket to mylot administrator to see what is going on?

i think its a fluke with mylot.. i hear of several people that wont get many or any for a few days and then things go back to normal and never have another problem again.. maybe it will fix itself.. ??

i don,t have to many problem on my computer connecting to my lot it does run slow after i been here a while but i can handle that.it sound like you can,t win for losing. i don,t get half of my notification in my e-mail that they are starting a discussion.i get a few only i wonder why is that.

If you are not receiving the notifications you have another option of reading your friends postings by clicking on their profile and see the latest discussions that they have started.
