If you could live anywhere for a year, where would you live?

I would like to live in Australia or New Zealand for a year.

If given that chance, I would like to live in France. Then like you, I could explore Europe while staying there. Europe seems so far away from me so I would really like to go there. I would also like to live independently so that I could learn how to live all by myself. It will be some sort of test for me if i could survive living there alone, with all these language and culture barriers. I also would like to learn a lot from Europe, their culture and way of living and how I can compare it to where I belong now, Asia.

I would live in Canada.
Canada is a very good and beautiful country, full of natural scenery. It would be a joy to live in Canada for a year.
Canda is one of the most beautiful countries. It is also peaceful.

I would definately want to live in either Jamaica or Italy..I've been to JA and feel right at home there but I'd love to go to Italy someday too..

I would love to live somewhere really tropical! I would love to live a real islander lifestyle for a year, i think the hardest part would be coming home again.... I can already imagine myself there, sipping on a coconut and relaxing on the beach. HOt summer nights all year round!!! Aloha!

As I finished reading your discussion, it suddenly occurred to me that we should swop places for a year. We coudl do that if we find there are others who want to live the lifestyle you live in and vice versa. Anyway, I'm quite undecided on where to live for a year. If money was not a concern, I would want to visit the world in a year. I don;t want to just stay in one place. So to answer your question where I would live for a year, I would say "the world".

I would live anywhere my girlfriend wants to live, because living with her makes any place "heaven" for me. If I had to live somewhere that's supposed to be the most spectacular place on Earth, it still won't be my paradise unless my girlfriend is with me.

I've thought I'd like to live in a village somewhere in the British Isles. Their villages seem so quaint and tidy, but I like it here in the states too much to go elsewhere. I know there are many who despise us, but with all our faults we're still the best nation in the world.

Hi friend.. If money is not an issue and all things possible, I would love to stay for a year at Pondicherry in India. It is just beside the sea,so neat and clean, calm and quiet, the people are very helpful and good natured and above all this place is associated with Rishi Aurobindo, an Indian freedom fighter turned into sage. There is Aurobindo Ashram where anyone can go and on small payment you even can have your food there. The system of having food with hundreds of people in a large hall is an excellent experience. People from all walks of life go there to give service to the Ashram according to their capacity. It also has many houses which are given on rent. Once I went there and stayed for two days and it is unforgettable memory for me. I would be extremely happy to live there.
