If you could live anywhere for a year, where would you live? |
|
I've always dreamed of living in Italy for a year and using it as a base to explore Europe. Since I love the water, my chosen place would have to be somewhere on the Italian coast. I envision renting a small apartment and taking a week out of each month to explore other areas in Europe. I've also always wanted to write a novel so in my dreams, I would spend the mornings writing and the afternoons walking on the beach and exploring my surroundings. So, if money wasn't an issue and all things were possible, where would you live for a year?

LaurenInLA (875) | 1 year ago | I love Canada as well. A couple of years ago, we traveled to Victoria and to Vancouver. Both cities have a different flavor but I loved both. Next year, I'd like to visit New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. We traveled the New England coast in June but didn't have enough time to cross over into Canada.

7. DEVONECO (127) | 1 year ago | I would live anywhere my girlfriend wants to live, because living with her makes any place "heaven" for me. If I had to live somewhere that's supposed to be the most spectacular place on Earth, it still won't be my paradise unless my girlfriend is with me.

9. 6precious102 (1400) | 1 year ago | I've thought I'd like to live in a village somewhere in the British Isles. Their villages seem so quaint and tidy, but I like it here in the states too much to go elsewhere. I know there are many who despise us, but with all our faults we're still the best nation in the world.

LaurenInLA (875) | 1 year ago | This is an interesting idea. Maybe a village like the ones that Agatha Christie writes about. Like this idea

10. arkadeb313 (416) | 1 year ago | Hi friend.. If money is not an issue and all things possible, I would love to stay for a year at Pondicherry in India. It is just beside the sea,so neat and clean, calm and quiet, the people are very helpful and good natured and above all this place is associated with Rishi Aurobindo, an Indian freedom fighter turned into sage. There is Aurobindo Ashram where anyone can go and on small payment you even can have your food there. The system of having food with hundreds of people in a large hall is an excellent experience. People from all walks of life go there to give service to the Ashram according to their capacity. It also has many houses which are given on rent. Once I went there and stayed for two days and it is unforgettable memory for me. I would be extremely happy to live there.
Happy mylotting
