Well, Christmas seasons is just around the corner. During this time of the year, we want to cook our very special meal. I am not an expert in cooking but if I was, I would definitely like to cook something out of the ordinary, make my own special recipe for Christmas. So, what's your favorite meal to cook during Christmas?

We usually have our traditional holiday meal for Thanksgiving (turkey and all the trimmings), but for Christmas we like to do something different each year - we might grill steak if the weather is good, or we might do a Mexican style or even Oriental style meal.
When my Dad was alive, we always had ham for Christmas. My daughter-in-law's family always had beef brisket. Many of our Mennonite friends always have roast goose for their holiday meal.

i usually cook turkey with stuffing, ham, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, a salad and some kind of vegetable dish (such as corn). A couple of weeks before Christmas i usually bake a bunch of different types of squares and cookies and freeze them. we usually have the squares and cookies for dessert.

I eat with family on christmas, any ideal thanksgiving is how our christmas looks like except without the thanksgiving like center piece and all. Also with christmas music, and gifts.
It's normally just a turkey, some asian food, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, eggnog, and lots that I don't remember eating much of... But the family I'm with do all that stuff. A big get together kind of thing.
