How much of what you do every day is based on the weather?

If the weather report says rain or below freezing, it doesn't do me much good to put my clothes on the clothes line. So they go in the dryer, but if the weather is going to be above freezing and sunny, then they go on the line.
If the weather is nice, I can go for a walk outdoors or gather things from outdoors, if not, I need to exercise indoors.
If the weather is nice, I can walk to the bus stop and then go the 25 miles to the nearest city. When I get to the city, I can walk all around it. If the weather is not nice, then I either have to use my car to the bus stop and uses buses all around the city or use my car to go to the city period.
How much does the weather affect what you do every day? What do you change? Clothes, driving, etc.? Or do you not change anything because you have your car in an attached garage and you drive to an underground garage or something? Thanks and take care.

Oh yes, the weather, especially now determines what I do..Like now it is cold and raining, but no way am I going out to rake those leaves, I will wait until it dries up some.

Yes, ask the fire department. Every spring and fall, people think they have nothing better to do with their time than put out fires caused my people who start fires when it's windy out.

I can't see raking leaves in the rain either. Nor can I on windy days, but some people try to do it on windy days and they even start them on fire during windy days and then wonder why it gets away from them. Thanks and take care.

Our hot summer affects me most. It leaves me lethargic and without any motivation to work. I only like to go to the sea and have a swim in the cold water to refresh myself. I try to leave my work and projects for our winter schedule. Summer is a time to relax and regain my lost engery. Yes the weather do affects us.

That's the way I feel, too. We have high humidity here in the summers and it wears me out. Thanks and take care.

I don't change anything unless it's icy out. My car is kept in the garage so it stays right where it is when the streets are slick. Our daughter lives about 25 minutes from us and I am going to help her out babysitting this winter but she knows if it's slick, I won't go out. The highways are cleared fast around here but not the side streets. We live on a hill so it may take a day or so before our street is driveable. I continue to do the same things inside the house all year long.

That's good. I often have to park far even when I use my car. Thanks and take care.

Actually to be honest, I am not much affected by the weather here, unless it's a typhoon or really heavy rain. Otherwise, life is pretty much inside and the same. I guess we just got so many buildings that we are always trapped inside and therefore, we are not much affected.

I think I would go crazy if I couldn't go outdoors some. I'm a nature girl and I have to be able to do something outdoors at least once in awhile. Thanks and take care.

I live in FL so the weather rarely affects what I do. During the rainy season, I gotta remember to always have an umbrella with me for the 5 or 10 minute showers that can occur on any day. But I don't need a jacket or sweater or anything on those days.
About the only time I really have to alter plans due to the weather would be if a hurricane is coming or if one is passing by our area. That could mean storms and rain all day. Depending on how close it would be, people actually stay inside their homes on those days. But those are rare.
Yes, our car is in an attached garage so if it's raining when it's time for me to leave for work, it's no big deal. And, by the time I get there, it most likely won't be raining.

My lifestyle-using a clothesline/gathering/gardening and my arthritis and rosacea as well as our location having sleet, hail, make weather watching extremely important for me. Other people have more indoor lifestyles or a more constant outdoor weather, better health, and a different location. Thanks and take care.

I would say that when we lived in Ohio the weather had a bigger effect. I went for more walks in Spring and Fall and hibernated in the winter. Because of the change in season, clothes changed a lot.
Out here, I'm in air conditioning all summer - house to car to work. Don't even go out if I don't have to. Now that the weather is nicer, we are all starting to emerge and it will be a longer period - from now until June at least. Less change.

I often feel like we don't go outdoors as much as some places because of the winter and once we get older, because of the cold and damp. But I guess some places, like deserts and places with permafrost are out even less. Take care and thanks.

Currently, since I'm in school the weather does not affect my schedule much except what I wear. Unless it's something major that they decide to cancel classes for and shut down the campus I know that I'm going to have to go to both class and work. Otherwise, on the weekend I actually would not leave home if it's cold outside or raining. I cancel everything because days like that are days that I just want to stay at home and snuggle in my bed with a good book.

So it affects you the most, as far as what you do, on the weekend. Thanks and take care.
