Are women really better listeners or better talkers ?  

I think that this is not a general conclusion based on a scientific research. Not all men doesn't want to talk or to listen. I am a man and I prefer to do the talking in our home. And when I'm done, I do the listening and weighing those words in my heart. From there, I make decisions on which is the right thing to do. I think that the topic is not a much debated issue because it is settled in the home as long as the couples humble themselves to each other. Good day to you and I read your post and listened.

I do not think this to be strictly true. Maybe it also depends on culture, religion, and upbringing.

Women are better listeners? Hmm...my spouse rarely listen to what I have to say and this occurs once in a few years. When I tried to say something she would cut me off. She rarely waited for me to finish off what I had to say before speaking. When I explained about something she would not listen, asking me about the same thing a few minutes or hours later. She wanted everything to be done according to her wishes. After meeting someone else she went into phases of giving monosyllabic answers and the above behaviour.

So now I tend to keep quiet.

Women are neither good listeners nor good talkers.
they talk nothing that i interesting. That is the reason man gets fed up and walks away from them.
They are also not good listeners. If you talk something which might be of benefit to them, they might listen. Otherwise, not.

most of the time women is better talkers. but in single time women is the best listener why? even they dont have the solution they give you comfort so that in your own you can solve your problem

WOMEN ARE NOT GOOD LISTENERS.
they can just go on talking,.....i prev thought tht this idea is wrong but really i hav witnessed this....all girl in my class just go on gossiping with out ne reason...just for tp

Some women are good at listening and some talk far too much. Everyone is an individual. Very few men listen to women but they listen to other men. Men and women often have different interests but not always. Some women like sports and some do not. I have tried to develop an interest in sports since I met my partner and I now watch AFL, rugby union, rugby league and cricket.

Women are considered good listeners because they are more likely to listen to people's problems and that is what makes them good counsellors. Mothers listen to their children and help them through the bad times. This is where the phrase comes from.

Some men talk about their feelings, some think it is a sign of weakness to even admit they have any. We are all different and this is definitely not something you can generalise about.

Relationships require good communication from both partners. Both men and women need to be able to talk to each other about their problems, their desires and their fears. In patriarchal societies you will find some men who will not even want to talk to a woman unless it is to get her into bed.

If it comes for their family well being ,then they are good listeners.And if it is loose talk,then they cant be outbeaten as a good/great talkers.Where they get that stamina,I really wonder!

According to me Women are better Talkers. When will they listen to others? I am confident that Women are More, more, more of Talkers, even anyone is not interested in listening. Women is born to talk and we are born to listen! At least we(Men) will listen to some, but women will never. No prejudiced statement from me. Everything is my hard experience!

it's hard to tell.i can only tell you that as a female,i am better at listening than talking.and i consider myself a good listener rather than a good speaker.
