I just noticedthis yesterday and I have noticed that it has grown fatter and painful each passing day and i removed my ring fromt hat finger. I didnt know what happened and what caused this very painful sprain, i have been trying to massage it to ease the pain but it has gone numb abd painful ever. What am i going to do? Thank you for sharing in advance and have a wonderful day to you all.

I would still have it looked at... You can't go on like that and there has to be a reason for it!!! ~Heavens~

I sprained my middle finger on my left hand a couple of years ago, and had to remote the ring that i was wearing on it, for the same reason. I sprained it when I had too much to drink one night, tripped on a piece of furnature, and landed on that finger. The pain went away in a few days, but it was swolen for about a month. Eventually it went back to normal, and I put my ring back on.

have you checked it with a docotr, coz if you have not checked it with a doctor i will not have to see a doctor about this, this is just the second day and soon i know the pain will fade away.

I think you should consult the doctor immediately... because it might not be a simple sprain... and you might be sorry in the end if you are not able to fix the problem... since it has already gone numb... that can be a sign of something serious already...

Hello Zelmarq. I am sorry that you got your ring finger sprained. I think that you can either use some sprayer for the sprain or soak your hand in some fairly warm water to help make the blood circulate to make it get better sooner. I wish you to get well soon, friend.

I am very sorry to hear that. Have you tried to make your opwn splint for it, to keep it straight so it will heal better and faster?
