I just love taking a hot radox bath, this really helps me to relax. However, when I have stripped down and I slowly dip my big toe into the water I find myself going ooohhh! Ahhhhh! Ooohhhh! This keeps on going until I am fully submerged
I guess that's the thing about really hot baths! I then sit, soak and relax for about forty-five minutes or so. What wacky utterances do you come out with when you first take the plunge?

lol. Given the inability to actually fill up an entire bath here because of a lack of enough hot water, I would be more likely to be saying "OMG! I am actually having a bath!!!"
I do torture myself when it comes to getting into a swimming pool or the ocean though. I know that if I just dive right in it will be a quick shock from the cool water and then all will be fine; but of course I will edge in slowly and prolong the agony! I have no idea why I continue to do it this way as I am just making things ten times worse than they need to be!

Ouch! I hope that I never venture down that road when I don't have enough hot water to have a bath! Life would then be over literally! You are a braver man than me! I never venture into the ocean! Still, there's hope yet should the worst case scenario happen and I wasn't able to take a bath!! Andrew

That's great, I guess I gave you some more enthusiasm for it as I began this discussion! I hope that you feel very relaxed now! I sometimes become very lazy on a Sunday night when I'm most tired! I would decide to have a bath but then I would cancel at the last moment. I guess I have more showers than baths! Still, I love the meditation experience that you go through when taking a bath! I think that 45 minutes is the maximum amount of time that I spend in a bath, the water starts to cool down quite quickly after that. I have to say, I have never ventured into the world of stepping into a freezing cold bath! Bathing is an excellent idea when it comes to relaxing the mind and body. Andrew

It's very seldom that I have a bath, ewww I know but before you say ewww Wolfie you are a dirty beastie, I shower! I much prefer a shower to be honest because it's quick, uses less water and you don't sit in your dirty water! But when I am ill or not well or just need to unwind then I will have a long soak and yes I do the same, ooh, aaah, oooh, oooh, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! I keep having to put a little more cold in because I can't stand the hot water but as soon as I get in I start adding a little more hot! Once the temperature is just right then you can relax with an ooooooooooh yeahhhhhhhh!

That's great wolfie, you are really creative as regards the ooohs and aaaaarghsss! I used to have a bath once per week on a Sunday evening but now we are going through this credit crunch thing and I stick to having a bath once per month. Like you though I do prefer showers. They are quick as you say and convenient. Happy bathing I guess! Andrew

I used to do that, but, now when I take a very hot bath I find that if I'm sitting in the tub as I'm filling it up with VERY hot water then it doesn't seem so hot and isn't a shock to my system. That's funny! LOL!

It sounds as though you have mastered the act of getting into a hot bath! I guess I still have to master this skill without coming out with the ohhhs and arhhhhhs! Andrew

no wacky utterrances, for me, Andrew not unless it's too hot, but I only take a hot bath if the weather is too cold. Maybe utterances made during hot bath implies you're finally relieve of something like, getting tired all day ahh right you're getting relaxed.

When I finally settle into a hot bath I do feel very relaxed and I guess I then give up those utterances! Bathing is an excellent pastime of mine! Andrew

Radox! now that is something that I don't see in the US at all; have to send for it if I want some. I discovered that in the Bahamas and bought some bottles to take back. not that we don't have good bath stuff, but Radox is the bomb. I have to be real tired to hit a bath these days. to me, they are a treat.

That's interesting! I'm sure that it's a sound that emanates from real pleasure though!! I love those hot baths, so relaxing, so meditative! It's far too expensive to have one on a daily basis though! Andrew

Yes, a hot bath truly is so relaxing after a long day at work. It seems that i can't get enough of it. I don't know i am not aware of what comes out of my mouth except a relaxing ohhhhhhhh! That's about it.Maybe because we do not have a tub, only a shower.

Baths are an excellent idea in relation to looking after your body. They are so relaxing and it's kind of like a meditation experience! A shower is just as good although you don't get any soaking time with a shower! I understand the ohhhhhh! though! That's definitely coming from the body showing gratitude! Andrew
