What do you do on the day after Thanksgiving?

We always put up our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Then if it is warm enough I will go and start to put up the lights outside on the house. I usually don't finish the whole job but at least, I get start on it. Then we usually watch a family movie in the evening.

Well, we never seem to be doing the same thing on Thanksgiving, so we don't really have a tradition for the day after. I know one thing we don't do... is go shopping. I avoid shopping like the plague on the day after Thanksgiving. I hate crowds!

I don't do anything for thanksgiving so I don't do anything the day after, in canada our thanksgiving is in october so we are not even thinking about christmas at that time, we are thinking about halloween,

We usually go shopping early on Friday and then come back, unload all of our purchases and then we usually take a nap and then back up and decide what to do the rest of the day. The rest of the day usually involves cleaning and what not so we can prepare for setting up things for Christmas but it seems every year because we have selfish people in this house Christmas decorating gets put off until later and later every year.

Putting up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving has been a tradition in my family since before I can remember. I plan on putting our up down here in the basement.....but maybe should ask mom to clean out a corner upstairs for it? I'm thinking we may have thrown her tree away....... marsha

The day after we do put up the tree if we have the Thanksgiving meal here at home..If we go away, like we are this year, it depends on which day we decide which day we will have our own little Thanksgiving meal..Sometimes the same day or we just take the whole weekend..

try to get over thanksgiving & get my house back in order. i am always pooped after doing all the cooking. i didn't use to be that way before my health got bad. i use to always work.

I am unemployed now, but when I was working, I usually left from where I was visiting early, because I had to work the next day. One year I requested the day after the holiday off, and did the black friday thing, I will never do that again. When my son was younger, I would always put our tree up the week end of his birthday, which is December 7.

I will have a good sleep. After standing outside for two or three hours, I think it is the first choice to anyone, then I will mail out the rebate as soon as possible to guarantee I get the real deal finally.
