Microsoft Updating

Hopefully this will get sorted quickly for you. It is annoying though especially if you use your windows for email. I suppose it has to be done though and maybe it will be better in the long run.

What an absolute pain. The worst I have ever experienced on these free email service sites is having the site load in text format once in a while. I hope they fix it soon because I personally get extremely frustrated when I can't access email. At least you have mylot to keep ya busy in the meantime Grandpa Bob!

I haven't tried to access any other Microsoft sites other than my email, and I didn't have any problems there at all. So maybe the glitch was gone by the time I logged in. I hope it's the same for you hon. It's so aggravating when those things happen.

I feel your frustration, Grandpa Bob. I have Incredimail which I really love, but every once in awhile, I can't receive incoming mail, nor can I send anything. So annoying! I can resort to my Rogers e-mail, which is available from my 'provider,' but I just don't like it. If you're speaking of MSN Messenger being down, it's a good thing my daughter's busy tonight, or she'd lose it over not being able to chat with her friends. I do understand this too though, as I can't stand MSN or Yahoo Messenger chat being down either. I hope they get this up and running soon. Take care.

OH please don't mention tech to me. I am so tired of tech people it isn't even funny. I was having problems yesterday so I went to aol tech chat and afterwards was told to go to dell tech. I called dell tech and the girl told me I would have to pay and I told her I was not going to pay as I was still under waranty. Well I hung up and got online tech chat for dell and they did things which helped with my problem. Afterwards I was going to go play pogo and had no java. I worked and worked and got in touch with dell tech through chat again and finally around 9:30 last night it was working. Then today I had to get with aol tech again and had to get rid of my newer version of flash and install an older version? Don't make sense to me but it worked. I hope you have better luck with tech than I did and that you don't have to keep talking with them.

Gee, that's too bad. I've been away from the computer all day. I hope the problem has been resolved by now.

It's os frustrating when things like that put us out of our regular routine....I know how you feel...when the puter breaks down too....I feel out of touch with the world....Hope by now it's straightened out!

Hmmm, hope it has improved for you. I hadn't noticed anything, but maybe I havent been on any sites that were affected by the updates.

Thanks for the information.I too have an email id in login live.I use it very rarely.I just check emails over there once a week.previously i used msn messenger to chat with my friends.Today i opened the microsoft mail site it is working fine.

I still use my good old AOL for everything even though I have Comcast high speed internet, I still rely on AOL.. I have used it forever and don't like to change so since it is free, I take advantage of it..Good luck getting your problems fixed..

Windows live mail is very slow, really and I seldom use it after checking several times waiting quarters to have it open. Always ask me to update, lol. I think it's better to use other mails, with faster speed and more professional. Hope your updates will be complete soon and then you can enjoy faster speed. But messenger should be ok soon as it's just very small.

I do not know whether your question have soloved or not.If not, i have a suggestion. Maybe you can re-install your window system, ask your technical support do it for you. A system document missing also can result in this question.

ya sometimes it is annoying..when you have important work , the site is put down for maintanence..hope they do it soon and put it live..i had read somewhere that gmail was down for almost 30hrs and due that most of the users lost some money as they could not process their work..the article also said that those whose work revolves around clients who decide deals via email had to suffer a lot... i think if this sites are down for maintenance then they should let their user know about it in advance...

I am so glad I didn't gowith microsoft email. I hate it when they do the updates it is always at the worse time. I don't see why they can't do the updates while we are offline. It is pretty much a mess, I know several friends that are pretty upset with all the things going wrong. I'm OK just a little upset about the updates.

I get bothered by the updates they do. It is always at the worse time. I am glad I didn't go with microsoft email. I don't know why they update at such odd times. I think they should be able to do it when we arn't online. Oh Well!!!!

At least you called them and know that it's a problem with them rather than with you. The most important thing is that it's temporary and that they're aware of the problem and trying to fix it. =P Yesterday my Internet was down for a long time and I didn't even bother calling my Internet provider because I know that they're not reliable and wouldn't offer any helpful information... at all. xD Don't worry, I'm sure there's plenty of other things you can do to keep yourself busy! ^_^

i alwasy get problems signing into microsoft live mail. i just then type in hotmail in the tool bar and it signs me in. i have no problem signing into messenger even when other peopl on my friends list cant sign in i still can so no compliants there.
