I get nervous, too. I've heard too many horror stories. I also have a great bank. So, I like having proof thbrough them that I paid by check for something.

Checks, 20 to 30 per month, I just haven't caught up to the times I guess!

Wow, you write out a lot of checks. I do so, too. I feel funny paying online. I'm a nervous person ingeneral, though.

I only use one check and it's to pay my rent bill. Everything else is done online with a credit card. I think it's easier to do it online or with a credit card because you can see that the payment is pending and when it will be released to be taken out of your account. Checks are tricky and sometimes aren't taken out until 2 weeks after you've written it.

I use one cheque a week for my sons dinner money.Three more to send away bills a month you cannot use them in supermarkets any more they have been replaced with debit card or credit cards,nothing like I used to write everything was buy cheque.I don't trust the internet with bill paying yet most of my other bills go through direct debits at the bank.
