what puts you in the holiday spirit?  

Cold weather is definitely a tell-tale sign that Christmas is on it's way. But what puts me in the Holiday spirit is decoration, seeing all the pretty lights, and just thinking of my childhood Christmases. Remembering that feeling of "Christmas" and the magic of Santa.

I think Christmas music jump starts my holiday spirit. Next I would say the first signs of snow and finally seeing the holiday displays in the stores. Commercials on television always catch my eye at first and keep feeding my holiday spirit since they are on constantly this time of the year. It's such a fun time of the year.

i guess the first thing is the weather getting a chill to it, and the first snowfall. then the decorations, lights, music, and christmas movies just add to getting me in the spirit of the holidays.

for me it is Christmas Carols and driving down the street looking at the houses with all the Holiday lights.
