Do you have rugs in your kitchen?  

Yes, I have several cotton throw rugs in the kitchen, in front of the refrigerator, sink, and chopping block. There is another one at the entry. They are comfortable and keep my feet warm, as I never wear shoes at home.

Hi sweet! Yes, I do have rugs on the floor in my kitchen by
my stove and sink. And you gave me a good idea! I should look
for some Christmas ones! I never really think about changing
them. I only look to change them and make sure that they
match the colors in the kitchen! I am actually waiting for
my landlord to give me a new kitchen floor which is taking
forever! I use the rugs to hide the really bad stains under
those spots. If I see some cut Christmas ones I will pick
them up! Thanks for the idea!

I have rugs all through the house, in a vain effort to keep it warm. This is a rented house, and has tile floors throughout. It's great in summer, really cool. But in winter it is ice cold and having something underfoot makes a real difference.

Every day I have to shake them all outside and sweep the house through. Then when the weather is bright enough to dry them I stick them throught the washing machine.

The only room I DON'T have rugs is the kitchen. I find that I've forever tripping over them, so it's safest not to have them somewhere where there's hot pans about.

I have a full throw run in my kitchen where between my stove, sink and refrigerator because I have a while tile floor and I find the rug keeps the floor cleaner. I do not change it for the season because it is 8' X 5' and I have to make a cut out around the refrigerator.
I do have small throw rugs in each entry way of the house. I have five doors going in and out of my house. The rugs sure pick up a lot from coming into the house.
