the only thing that fish can do is to swim. and i think they are not boring for what they do. yaahhhhh know they are happy that theyve been watching by a woman who where so bored to wait for the doctor to come in. the fish might say.. "hey guys look whos watching us... damn is she old or what? can hardly see something on her chest what about you guys?"

not like a fish life, we have choices to make our life what we would like it to be, look for thrills and become whatever we want. life is what we make it out to be

Well, it the fish just lived in a tank. Yes, there life is boring. But if they lived in a tank with predators. Their life would be spent dodging them. If they lived in the ocean, lake, river or stream, than their life would be spent looking over their shoulder so they would not get eaten.

I would prefer to be a big fish if iwas living in an aquarium not to be eaten by the other fish.

To be bored is to be aware that there is life or activities outside ones small world. To be bored means to operate above ones instinct which I don't think the fish does. I think they are not bored because it requires rationality and reasoning.

Hi bombshell, I happen to agree with you, yet how are we to know what goes on i their little mind if they have known no different as many are bred in captivity, it the same with reptiles and also I have a royal python snake she was bred in captivity so guess she knows no different than being in her vivarium/cage and being brought out to be held, also fed and watered etc. It is a mystery we will never know...littleowl

har har har you are kind of wierd when you say that. i dont think that there is a boring life on earth. eerything has its own purpose. maybe you dont feel it the way fishes do for you are not on their shoes..... well they dont have feet har har har. or maybe because you are not on their fins.... (much better). maybe fishes see our life as a disaster. we have to work just to pay bills. we have to sleep to gain more energy and go back working again tomorrow. their life maybe simple but not boring..... this is a point of view of a fish (joke) har har har.

Well, fishes don't have to worry anything, and I don't think their life is boring because you can see them chasing each other and playing, so they're having fun swimming all their life and that's the life that they are bound to be. They don't get bored I think because they only have four seconds memory span. So every time they can see something, they see it for the first time so it's always exciting for them.
