War between India and Pakistan

I wonder why Pakistani leadership is not willing to admit that the lone surviving mumbai attacker is from Pakistan. I wonder why they are talking about war when it's their people who murdered Indian. Pakistan started the Kargil intrusion; and it was their trained murderers that attacked out Parliament. And now they are manufacturing war frenzy mood among its people. Pakistan has witnessed coup by the armies again and again, whereas Indian democracy is very stable and robust. why don't Pakistani leadership put thier heads together and think of something else instead of this war talk? Can someone explain to me?

what we have to hope is that sanity prevails. you are correct. most people in the uk knew this before it was discovered. Pakistan is hughly anti west and for 9/11. You have to let go of this occassion. do not think for a moment this is over. India and the combined forces of the Uk/US will not let this rest.

Let go of this occasion? Do you mean forget about it? It's behavior like that that emboldens the terrorist to continue their terrorism. India, England, and the United States want the Pakistan government to realize that they need to stop terrorism in their own country before someone else does it for them.

As of now the mood in India is that we won't mind even if India strikes Pakistan. Indians are prepared, so to speak, to face any eventuality... let thousands die, but let Pakistan pay the price. Our leaders are exercising extreme caution. And it's crazy that Pakistan is not willing to take stern actions against the terrorists.

War between India and Pakistan would kill at least thousands and potentially wreck both countries, leaving the Islamist scum (or maybe even Red China) to pick up the pieces. There has to come a time - hopefully soon - when the political classes of both countries realise that what they have in common outweighs any differences, then they can ally against their common enemies.

I still cannot understand why Pakistan wants to destroy India by giving shelter to the terrorists. If Pakistan thinks that it can destroy India I think it's deluded. India's economy is stable. Current recession has not hit India hard!
