How did you spent your New Year eve?

Thank you Mayka for your good wishes,and off course I would like to reciprocate the good wishes to you and your kids too.....Have a great 2009......Well I like to hit the sack early and get up early too and new year is no exception to me.....I watched TV and feel asleep half way throught the programmes.......they were all so monotonous and boring......My sons rang me up at midnight to greet me,and I talked to them and went back to sleep.........

There was a time some years ago that TV programmes would be so good on New Years eve that people who did not want to stay awake were also glued to the TV sets. Nowadays there are no interesting programmes anytime. I have got bored of Television now.

Hi Makya...I think we should be thankful that the tv programmes help us to go to bed early,and dont keep us hooked to them half the night....

Yes I will not complain. And am thankful that we do not have to take sleeping pills to get sleep. Just watch the programmes that I get sleep immediately.

Hello roberten.....Well the best way to spent New year is to be able to spent the day as you want it...And in your case,you seems to have achieved it,,and appears satisfied and at peace with yourself.....I too do not like to celebrate new year with much fanfare,and like to spent it quietly at home......So that makes the two of us,who prefer a simple queit and boring day........

In usual we don't go to bed early. And this is why we were still awake and greeted to the New Year at the right time

Copy cat......why are you always copying me???I slept at 10.30,because the Tv new year programmes were too boring,as usual.... But I was woken up at 12 o'clock by the sound of crackers and cheering by some youngsters near my place.And then both my sons called me and we exchanged good wishes.I also watched some fireworks from my balcony,and went to bed again.......And today I was up and about by 6o'clock,glad that I had my beauty sleep.........he..he.... Happy 2009 to you......

Fortunately at our plae it was not that noisy, and i am not in to TV shows so never bother what was on TV
