"All You Can Eat Buffet" ...

i def. dont get my money's worth, i only get mashed potatoes, bread roll, taco n maybe a side of something. my hubby goes back for 3rds and 4ths and 5ths, we stay there for a couple of hrs. he even has time to make a deposit to the porcelain god so he can refill. lol

I've never actually been to an "All you can eat Buffet", but I would like to someday hopefully. I don't want to gain any weight right now so I am picking at food like a bird. Thus, if I went right now, I wouldn't eat much and there would be only a small helping of healthy food on my plate.

I always eat just one meal a day so a Buffett is my best bet actually.
I start with one plate of just sald items. Then a plate of fruits etc
after that. Then one sometimes 2 plates of the meat and taters part of
the meal. Of course a few servings of breads and or rolls all followed
by two dessert choices usually.

I usually get a salad first, then one more plate with a little bit of several things but no dessert for me these days except maybe the sugar free fat free ice cream.

I don't like going to them. But I get out voted and we go. I get two plates one with salad and then chicken and mashed patotes and a veg. Now I have watched my roommate and it is scary how much food he can put away. I now bring a book with if my son doesn't go. As I'm ready and he is still eating. He can eat 3 to 4 plates and that is on a bad day. It pays for him to go. And he is tall and thin. Me the one who eats right. Short and fat. How rude is that. But hey I guess that is what happens in my family. Younger all thin we hit 45 we get fat. I'm working on it.

i prefer buffet for breakfast or lunch, for i dont eat that much during dinner. on a buffet i eat slowly so i can makes sure i can taste everything that is served there. i get a little portions of everything so i can say that i do the tasting of everything up to the second refill. and the third one i go for what i like most on what is served. then the fourth is the dessert. dont get me wrong.... i am not the kind who over flows the plate. lol.

I usually get a good full plate the first time so I don't have room for seconds and I very rarely go for dessert. My husband almost always goes back for seconds, but I don't recall either of us ever going for thirds. Be Blessed!

Food is the last thing I want to think of right now since I am so full. hahaha When at a buffet I always get foods that I don't normally fix at home and I only get one plate of food. I also get more than one dessert but just a small amount of about two or three at the most.

I never get my money's worth at an all you can eat buffet. I had a gastric bypass, so I can only eat a kid's plate. The most I can hold is 8 to 10 ounces of food, before I am very full. I will load my plate with a little bit of everything I want to taste, and then I also get some sugar free blueberry pie with a tad of soft serve ice cream on top.. and I end up throwing almost half of my food away because I can't eat it.

Oh no! Not the buffet!

I am a real hog at buffets, howard, but only because I'm SO cheap!! I refuse to leave without getting (and eating) at least three full plates of food so that I feel like I get my money's worth. I eat entirely too much at those things.

My favorite buffets are the Chinese buffets.
