Life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get!

Unless of course your box has a map in it! I like the chocolate boxes that have a map because I don't like coconut and I'll pitch those out right away. If there's no map and I don't know what all there is in the box, I'll be very careful with my first bite. If it's got coconut, I spit it out right away. If it's a good one, I gobble it down! If there's no map on your box of chocolates, do you poke a hole in it? Or do you just bit into it and hope for the best?

I always look at the map so I can leave the ones I like the best for last. If it doesn't have a map I don't poke holes in them but I have been known to each just half of one.

No I do not poke a hole in it I usually do like it so I do not have a problem with it. I do not eat much chocolate so I do not have to have to throw some away.

Most chocolates in a box nowadays like Godiva, they have a description at the back of its box regarding what kind of chocolates are in the box.

I think that's the best because then you don't get something by surprise that you don't like.

I normally just bite right in and hope for the best. I personally love coconut, so you can pass those coconut ones my way.

I would break it in half to see what I have got if it was coconut I would eat those first then the nutty ones lovely, fudge would be my next choice praline are not my favourits thost they would get chucked,we used to buy coconut ice as kids and we I love the stuff and then they wrapped it in chocoate always buy that if I come across it ,then I work my way through the fruit flavourd ones then up on the the caramel ones and toffee ones.I must admit I do know my way around abox of chocolates but a map is always a good thing ,sometimes I like to just pick one and pop it in my mouth and wait for the wonderful luxurious flavour to tickle my taste buds.now I am going to search for a bit of chocolate to eat, after all that ,you wicked woman.I think there may be some in the tin if not I will have to get hubby to go out and buy some ,now see what you have done.!!!!!!

Ah yes, that's why my box of chocolates only come from Mrs. See's. But I do love coconut though.

I haven't eaten these kinds of chocolates in some time, but when I did I would take a small bite and test it out. If it was one that I liked I would eat it. But like you, if it's one that is gross, like coconut, I spit it right out! Yucky! LOL

I don't remember who used to do this, but I can remember one of my kids putting them back in the box after he'd taken a bite and realized he didn't like it.

I also like the boxes with the map but I will eat any of them if there is no map. I don't like raspberry but I do choke those down if that is the filling.

Hey reiny! Send me the coconut ones! Those are one of my favorites! I probably spit out ones that you like! I will take my finger and squish them a little to make sure that it isn't one that I don't like! So the box had better be for just me! If it is someone elses box I pray that I pick one that I won't have to spit out! It isn't polite to stick your fingers and make holes in other peoples chocolates! There aren't many chocolates that I do hate, but there have been some that I do spit out! But, I love coconut!
