Taking down the Christmas tree

We have taken down the Christmas tree. We did that yesterday. I was telling my husband while we were doing it, that it is alot easier to take down a Christmas Tree then putting it up. I in a way love taking it down then putting it up.

well it's been 3 months since you started this discussion so mine is definatley down lol. I usually leave mine up for a couple of weeks after Christmas as i like to have it up over the New Year period. I try not to put up too many other decorations as this leaves the walls etc looking very bare after they come down. The best thing about Christmas tree decorating is doing it with the ones you love.. especially the grandkids.

I usually wait to take down my Christmas tree until the last possible minute. I really like how pretty and cheerful all the Christmas decorations look, and it kind-of depresses me when it's time for them to come down. With my little one walking this year, though, they got put away earlier than I usually do.

Wow! This discussion was for last year's Christmas, I guess, but now it's only two months away for another Christmas joy!! So, I haven't even put up the Christmas tree yet and now it's about taking it down.

Seriously, I will only put away all the decorations and the tree at the end of January because I love the color lights on the tree and it's not every year that we will have that kind of festive atmosphere.
