Who has the BEST burgers in YOUR town?

If you could only get a hamburger from one place in your town, where would you get it from?
Do you have a favorite sit-down restaurant or maybe a favorite fast food place? Or is there a little hole-in-the-wall place that you found and realized they make the best hamburgers you've ever tasted? Or it could be that you prefer to eat your hamburgers at home because YOU make the best burgers in your town?
Tell me what place serves the most delicious hamburgers where you live.. and what makes them so yummy?
For me, my favorite hamburgers are from a placed called Portillo's. They are famous for their hot dogs and chili dogs but I love their hamburgers. They taste just like homemade only better. Big, juicy and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and really tasty sauce (thousand island and mayonaise). I LOVE their burgers.. mmmmmm!

Here where I live there is a little place called the White House. Their burgers are delicious 
It's an old place that's been around a lot of years, sort of a mom and pop type place. The building is very small so you have to place your order at the window. There are some benches and tables for those that want to eat the food there and you can share your meal with some birds that are always hanging around the place. It's rather nice

Mmm sounds yummy and quaint. I love little places that have a "home" feeling to them. Is the White House like White Castle Burgers?
Here in California we have In-N-Out Burgers which are pretty famous. I guess I'm just used to them because I grew up eating them, because I really do not know what the big deal is about their burgers - they make everything fresh and people from out of town who come here always say they HAVE to try an In-N-Out Burger but I'm always confused on why. Sure, they are good, but so are a hundred other places.

A small 'greasy spoon' called Cherries. It used to be a Dairy Queen, why the owner changed the name, I don't know. He's been there for years. He's had the place for sale but I think he's asking too much for it or something. Anyway, he still makes the soft ice cream that Dairy Queen had. The hamburgers are so good! They actually taste like meat, and he uses real cheese, and of course pickles, lol. A hamburger isn't a hamburger to me if it doesn't have that thin pickle.

I have never heard of Portillo's is it a chain? I have not had a good hamburger in a very long time. There is a Fosters Freeze, right down the street from me. In the three years that I have been here, I have said over and over that I am going to try their burgers. I think I will go ahead and try them this week, since I will be leaving this area soon.

i live in China. My living city do not have many burger shop except Mac and KFC. I like the beaf burger in Mac. But my favourite burger is in the town when i spent my college life. The shop is besides my college. I was used to buy their burger to eat with my girl friend. That a sweet memory for me. Hehe

When we're having financial problems and feel like a burger we will make them ourselves but it's not as good as when we go out because our burgers are pretty sloppy and the bread gets soaked up in mayo, ketchup and the fixins.
I love burgerking. Their whoppers are so good. Unfortunitly we don't have a burgerking in our town so whenever we go to the city, we will stop in there.
There's only one restaurant in this town where I live so there's no choices here. They do have good food but I"ve never tried their burgers yet. I know the sandwiches are really good though.

If I could get only one burger from my town ,I would have to say that it would be from wendys they have the best hambugers and they taste really good, what makes them so yummy is because they arent greasy, they put all the right ingredients, all the toppings lettuce , tomatoes, onions, cheese, and they have a special dressing that makes you go wild , I dont get enough of thier burgers

My wife works at a private restaurant called Ace's. The cheeseburgers there are the best I have ever had. I don't eat there as often as I would like, because I work at another restaurant six nights per week, but I almost always get the burger when I eat there...
