ya thats true my dear when there is something bad means we wil get depressed

I'm sorry yet another bad thing has happened.

I think most of us here, on mylot, could use an infusion of money.

Is there anyone who could help you? A church nearby? I know a lot of churches who help people out that are having trouble, financially or otherwise. I'm sorry I can't be there to help in person. But remember that you are very valuable, and no one on earth could take your place. And we all need you to be who you are. So don't end it, OK?: )

I have been where you are many years ago. I was a pro. musician with a young family and a lot of bills. It was the time of recession then too. I had taken on an extra job during the day (as well as my night-time job), so help pay the bills. I was in sales for a large confectionary company and they went bust. On top of this the club where I worked cut the number of nights to just 3 at weekends and I remember waking up in the early hours of the morning thinking, "we're not going to make it!" - It was like a night terror.

I talked to a friend of mine who was really into astrology, and he didn't give me a reading or anything, but it was just something he said that made me pull myself out of my fear and despair. He said, "none of us on this earth are asked to deal with anything we can't handle".

I first of all wanted to just dismiss what he said, but it seemed to stick in my mind. Things continued to be hard for several years, but my attitude changed from one of resistance to one of acceptance and resolution to my predicament. And I think my friend was right.. Something always turns up, and I endeavour to see that as one door closes another one opens. We always "make it". There is no alternative really.

I have since become a therapist for the last 30 years and realise even more now how important it is to change our focus. Because when we change our focus, we change our moods.

Hi! I am concerned that you are having such suicidal thoughts. You need help right away! You can call a suicide hotline, or if you are a member of any religion, please see a clergyman right away. You are beyond depressed. You are having thoughts of hurting yourself!

I am praying for you!! Don't even think that way. There alot of people in the same situation that you are financially. Have you tried doing a few things online to help just a little? Surveys, and things like that? They are not fast money makers, but can help.

I know just how you feel. Right now money is really tight but that isnt even what is causing my depression. I have clinical depression that I take medication for. That is the majority of my problems but my husband has been horrible since he went off his mediciation. He belittles me all the time. I can't ask him a question without him telling me how stupid I am. How am I going to learn anything if I ask someone a question and instead of telling me the answer they just tell me how stupid I am. My husband isnt that smart either he just thinks he is. He is out working everyday while I am home with our children so he hears and learns more then I do while being home all the time. He sees a lot more people as well who he learns things from. I have decided rather then put up with his remarks I just wont talk to him anymore. What a lovely marriage when you cant even talk to your spouse.
