Good witches?  

I've always wanted to become a witch, a good one. Having powers and curses is cool just as long as you don't use it to harm people... that is if it really exists. I am also a Christian and I think there's nothing wrong with it as long as you know what you really believe in. I would consider witches as mythical, they don't really have powers, they are just like a cult which have beliefs way too far from those who have religion.

I think there is no such thing as good witches. Once us, humans gain powers we would start aiming for more. We would become brave in a negative way. We would be selfish, it's by nature that humans turn bad if they have too much of a power literally and hypothetically thinking maybe that's why we're only humans without super powers cause we can't keep our feet on the ground for sure... hmmm.... I'm a little way out of rhyme... Happy Mylotting!

i don't believe in witches, good or bad, i don't think some children are old enough to comprehend the diffrerence in fiction when they go see things like this,

Wicca is a modern religion of "witches". Some Pagans also practice witchcraft and/or magic. Wiccans believe in the rule of three, that what you put out comes back to you threefold, so a Wiccan would not use magic to bring harm knowing that it would come back on them. Back to your question, yes there are good witches.

I don't believe any supernatural beings are real, but as long as they know this is a book or movie I see no harm in it. It would be dangerous to let our children believe these being are real. All in good fun, yes, but be clear on it.

of course there are good witches. Samantha on the television show Bewitched, is one good example of a friendly witch. also the movie hocus pocus with Bette Midler in it is another good example of good witches. lol but as far as believing in a real life witch or anything like that, no i do not. and also the television show Sabrina, she was a good witch. lol

I am a Christian too and I love make believe witches. My website has an old lady gramma witch as a logo. i love Halloween witches, they are so much fun. I will not have anything to do with witchcraft, I do believe there is some truth to that, and I don't want any part in it.

I think they're ok for kids as long as they know it's not real. I love these types of shows. I wish they were real.

Hello dfolliin! The kids who are watching those movies or shows must be guided. Although I don't think it's actually bad, it still needs parental guidance because not all the episode of the shows are good. I mean, good witches or wizards are fictional, I don't think they exists. So they must know the real meaning of life and they must know that it's not true.

Yeah. I think that witches in stories are meant to teach the difference between good and evil. they are good and bad witches.

i guess its okay. as long as the kids know they are fictional. secondly the kid should also the right and wrong issue. but kids now days are intelligent so i guess its not wrong to watch and read article. my main concern is how much can they influence the minds of the kids.
