Law and Order Criminal Intent  

Since the advent of reality shows, there now seems to be three different television seasons. You know how there used to be October to March and then summer reruns, well now with too many shows, there is a fall season, spring season and summer season. Shows like Lost and Medium are starting their new season this month while other shows (probably L&O CI) are finishing their season. The original Law & Order series started later than the regular shows this past fall. It makes it very unpredictable as to when new seasons will start, but during the summer you are not faced with endless reruns because of reality shows.

Having said that, I know that Vincent D'Onofrio (Goren) had health problems (fatigue) and wanted to cut back his time on the show. That is when they brought in the other pair with Chris Roth on an alternating basis. Chris Roth has had other jobs besides L&O so that could be slowing things down too. I actually love Criminal Intent better than the original L&O and would hate to see it die. I could do without the rotating detective duos; I prefer Eames and Goren.

It's really hard to know anymore. Look at Las Vegas. I thought they would be returning in January along with Medium and Lost, but I saw one of the actors on another show so I don't know if it's returning at all. I haven't heard of it being cancelled. Heck, they ended last season with a cliff hanger!

TV has changed.

I just don't know, I have no idea what their difficulties are, obviously it is something big, because they don't want to lose viewers either.

i watch Law and Order sometimes but I havent really noticed what is going on with the cast. I watch it maybe onece a week. I miss it now that Mr. Big Chris Noth is not going to be on it anymore. I think it is a really good show. ithink that it is going to be a good show anyway.

All of the shows are repeating like crazy right now. It's making me nutz!

You are more up on this issue than me. I love the show. I have noticed that the shows being shown are re-runs. I still enjoy them. It is interesting to see what little things I missed during the first viewing. Do you ever watch shows over to see if you can catch things you missed before??

Is it the cast or is it something else that is holding up the shooting? It could be something to do with an illness or someone else then the cast.
