In winter, among other things, I am really annoyed by the static electricity. When touching the metal bar on a bus, or happen to be touched by somebody, I feel the literal hurt on the skin, hair, etc.
Drink more water? Take a shower? They may help for some time, but no hope to eliminate. Could you give more suggestions, and thanks in advance.

i have no idea what causes static electricity but i sure would like to get rid of it. i thought it comes from being in front of the computer too long or too much stress, but maybe not. I don't want to have any static electricity when my boys greet me with hugs or kisses. Any suggestions would certainly help

I am still looking for advice to prevent static electricity. Anything you learn about these days?

I think there ae ways to deal with static electricity but I dont know what they are.
I was having a problem with that yesterday when I was in the store. I think that I was going to get a shock everywhere and it did actually happen to me. I'm not sure what brought all the static on but it was a problem yesterday.
