My husband has been doing a lot of buying and selling on Ebay for a couple of years now and he likes the site a lot. Some tips for selling on Ebay would be for you to first research what items similar to what you will be selling are starting out as and what they eventually sell for. If you're selling something relatively expensive, always put in a reserve so that you're not forced to sell it for way less than you want. Be sure to describe the item accurately, including amount of usage and any knicks or minor damage there is. Be sure to include everything positive that there is to say about the item as well. Take more than one picture, from different angles, so that potential buyers can have a clear view of what they are bidding on. Be sure to answer any questions that are sent to you promptly and to mail out the item as soon as it is paid for. You can insert a handling fee when you set up the sale that the buyer will not see. My husband has between $2 and $5 as his handling fee depending on the size of the item. They buyer is responsible for shipping and, since fees differ, don't offer a flat shipping fee...let the buyer figure it out on his end when he completes the purchase but, if a buyer pays for Priority Mail, don't send it Standard Ground. And never, EVER do business outside of Ebay. There are people out there who will cheat you if you do and you will have no recourse. Good luck!

i want to add that you should try to sell your item with minimum price if you are new ebay seller with a few feedbacks.
people usually buy from power seller or one who has so many feedbcaks hence it is difficult to sell your item if you are new seller on eBay. Only way to attract customer is by selling it with little or no profit - to start with.
