If you would live in the Medieval Period, what will be your weapon of choice?

I would like to use a curved sword.I have seen many pictues where people carry the sword to kill their enemies.I feel it gives a heristic look so I personally the curved sword will be better for my physic.And if you give me one more chance I will take the bow.

i'd be carrying a sword as well along with some nice plate armor. i dont think mages or wizards existed in the midieval times (unless you're talking about video games like world of warcraft), but id cut them a new one if i saw one. i also wouldn't need a shield since id be probably carrying two swords haha

I like a large 2x4 with large nails. The one used by Mr. Caveman. If you're familiar with Black Metal music, i also would want to have that leather bracelet with large nails too. It may come in handy.

Why do wizards bore you to tears? Where would medieval times be without wizards? Or dragons? After all my current profession comes from the esoteric arts and sciences. If I had to choose between magic and a weapon, I would choose magic, sorcery as a matter of fact.

Also it looks like you are ready to take on a new project, but you are not focused. Despite the unwise council you have been receiving, you need to treat it with sincerity to get over the pretended sacrifice.

Quarterstaff. It's got more reach than a sword, you can use it as both an offensive and defensive weapon, and it makes a good general purpose tool/walking staff. Also, if it's lost or broken, it's easier to make a new one than a sword or similar.

Same weapon I use today: my brain! It's better to avoid combat than to have to fight. If I were forced, I'd be the annoying toad with a longbow. Stick an arrow in your head before you get in range to hit me!
