I should be so lucky!

i can't say that i consider myself to be lucky in life... but i always try to be grateful for what i have and what God has given to me... i believe that His blessings are abundant and sufficient for me and i am quite content with what i have now... i try not to be greedy in this life and just be happy with what i have... i believe that whatever things happen in my life whether it is good or bad, it is in His hands and they all happen for good reasons... take care and have a nice day...

I do consider myself lucky. In he sense hat I dbeter count my blessings than grumble about the things that I do lack. Up till now I am healthy and I can work, I have a stable job. I have aloving family, an adorable son. I am not saying that my marriage is rosy, i has its ups and downs like anyboyd else. We have our disagreements.. I hope htat you manage to settle with someone who can really love you and your kids. You seem a very lovable and warm woman.

Hambug i am sorry i didnt know about the problems you are facing with your spouce when i wrote to ur reply to my question. judging by your answers i find you have a very nice IQ now about your question if i am lucky then yes i am pretty lucky seeing how others are facing in life. Today i saw a death on road.. so i guess i was lucky it cud have been me and in love yes i am in love with most beautiful and nicest girl in world. She adores me too..life is too long but right now yes i am lucky.

No, not lucky. I would have to say that I made my own luck in my life by hard work. I have always worked hard but looking back I can see that in my deepest moments of despair a ray of hope was given to me. This happened every time and so many times. I am sorry for your brother and wish that he could get to see his girls. Perhaps because he has this type of personality that he is able to cope with it all. What a pity that his children cannot see their cousins. I do hope that it works out o.k. for him

yes, we all haveour problems. Your brother has had more than his share of them. I'm so sorry for the loss of the baby. It's very hard to lose them of all the babies when they leave us.
We have had our problems which I won't go into but all through life we had had huge obsticales to over come. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

I have had a h*ll of a life myself.
While growing up I was sexually and physically abused by my dad and sometimes physically abused by my mom. I was psycologically abused by my mom, dad and sisters. I finally managed to get away from home at age 25. I have been fired from EVERY job that I have ever had in my life. I've been homeless 4 times.
Now I'm 50 and on Disability. I live in San Diego in an apt complex for people on Disability. Because of all the abuse I suffered from, not only as a child, but, as an adult, I suffer from Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Major Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorder and major anger issues. I have a tendency to isolate a lot. If I get out of my apt 3 times a month I'm doing good. If I'm without my medication for a week or longer I get suicidal. I don't want to commit suicide, but, because of the chemical imbalance in my brain it can't be helped. So, I take my medication. LOL! Because I have a fast metabolism my medication leaves my body before it has any real affect on my brain, but, if I take over and above the recommended dosage of the medication for it to really start working on my brain then I start having seizures. It's a lose-lose situation for me. I'm da*ned if I do and I'm da*ned if I don't. So, I have to just take the normal dosage.
Life is pretty comfortable for me though. I have Mija (my cat). She is my buddy and I don't know what I'd do without her. She really keeps me going and gives me a reason for getting up everyday. I have a 36" screen T.V. (I love my horror movies! LOL!) and I have my laptop. I feel that I'm sitting very pretty. Actually things have been better for me now than they have been my entire life.
I'm also a born again Christian in that I've accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour. He helps me through so much and I'm so grateful for all that He has done for me. When I do die I know I'm going to Heaven to be with Him and this makes me so happy!
