Alligator/Croc----Ice Crystal

Now I muist be in a REPTILIAN mood today as in this Ice crystal I see it as being the skin of an aliigator or crocodile. Maybe a shoe or belt or just the skin itself up close. I love ice crystals. What is it you see in this ice crystal that Mother Nature is trying to convey? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That looks more like a delicate jungle of ferns to me, shining in the moonlight. It's quite a romantic picture!

I am not a big fan of reptiles but I will look at it anyway. hahaha I have never owned anything made from alligator but it is pretty.

Mother nature is saying that there is beautiful light through the darkness. That the dark makes the light even more beautiful.She is showing the artistic abilty that she has to make anything beautiful.

That's amazing. We are going to have 33 degrees today, and have been in a heatwave for about a week. At least I can look at your ice crystal photographs and cool off a bit - whew!

Here in Minnesota we are going to, (more than likely), not have one day at all over 32F degrees. This will be only the 3rd January since 1812 that we never got above the freezing temperature. Cold for sure this month here. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Was this the same ice crystals but changed because of the sun? I know the crystals can change if you even put your hand on the window or breath on it. I do like seeing your photos.

I couldn't get the larger picture to come up so I am having to rely on the little thumbnail picture. It looks like some wierd alian creature or space seen to me. I sort of saw an alligator head there. Tey are wonderful all by them selves and it is amazing that we see so many different things in them. The imagine runs wild. I love them and hope you keep posting them as long as Mother Natue keeps them comming.
