hi dear friends this day in india is celebrated as basnt panchami!! a day when all indians go the temple and perform puja for the mother divine MA SARASWATI, the goddess of knowledge!! may all be blessed with enough knowledge and capacities to learn!! and blessed with enough wisdom!! happy basant panchami to all!!

Happy Saraswati puja to you too. In Bengal we are not supposed to write or read any thing today..So it was fun meeting up school friends all clad in sarees(girls) and kurta pyjamas(boys). We had lots of competitions in college today. Hope Saraswati gives knowledge and wisdom to all.

Since I have many Indian friends here, may I also wish everyone of my Indian friends Happy basant panchami. You have your MA SARASWATI while we catholics have MOTHER MARY. There is a similarity here.
