Apparently, in the USA food consumption is the highest on SuperBowl Sunday; take out/delivery, SuperBowl parties, and I assume all Sports Bars will be filled. But what will you be doing this Sunday? And by the way, Pittsburgh Steelers or Arizona Cardinals?

Well, I've already worked out, did some laundry, and got some goofing off time in on the computer. Next it's get my weekly grocery list together, hit the grocery store, while doing more laundry. I'll clean the beds and towels today - since I got the new washer/dryer I want to really put them to use! Later, I'll goof off on the computer some more, probably clean up the office here a bit (been meaning to do that for weeks!). I might read some later... That's about it.
My mom's a HUGE steelers fan but she doesn't really like it when we all come over to watch the super bowl with her because we all talk and she can't watch the game.
I don't do football btw, so it's just another Sunday for me!

I haven't had a chance to talk to my mom yet... But I'm sure that she had a great time - except for those few minutes when the Steelers stopped playing????

Steelers... I will be watching the Phantom Gourmet pre-game marathon (it's a food review show for my area) and I'll also watch the half-time show with Springsteen. All of this from my living room.

I have not been watching sports.
Yesterday my BF went to watch a soccer match, Herta won.
He was all excited when he came home.
I was glad for him, but it does not do much for me.
When I am there in the stadium, it is different.
Then it is a nice atmosphere.
But, he was so happy, and I was watching a move,"Dancing with Wolfs".
I have seen that film at least 5 times in my life. And never saw it completely.
And of course last night he was gabbing away, and I did not want to look uninterested.
So, I still don't understand the complete film.
What is the Superbowl?? I used to know... I know it is a sport but ...
Take care, groetjes.

Well, soccer is picking up a little popularity here in the US but it has a long way to go. I love "Dancing With Wolves." It's Keven Costner's best movie ever. He hasn't really made any good ones after that. But I'm waiting for it. And the SuperBowl is the championship game for football (American football). I think you guys might call it Grid Iron Football or something like that. It's actually televised all over the world in 34 different languages and one commercial spot during this game can cost companies in the millions of dollars for 30 seconds or so. The commercials are as popular as the game.

Oh, I did not see it on tv.
The soccer they play here, used to be what we called a sissy sport.
When I was in Canada the nr.one was Hockey.
Soccer was for sissy's, lol!
Somehow I still have that in my head every time I see these grown men
running after a ball. When they finally have it, they kick it away.
Then they say it has a logic???
Well, here in Germany it is as bad as in Holland.
These men just love there soccer matches.
When I was young I liked to play too.
Because I was normally the only girl to play with the big shots, lol!
But, to patiently watch this game, I find rather boring, hahaha!
I will try to seem interested from time to time. lol!
Take care, see you later.

I don't mind either team so I just hope that it will be a good game. I will be staying at home and watching the kids while my spouse works. Luckily it will be near their bed time before the game really gets going. Personally I hate the 8 hours of pregame stuff. I just want to watch the game.

Yeah, the pregame stuff was pointless. I did love all the stuff about Kurt Warner though. I just like the guy. Half time wasn't so grand either. But the game was great!

Hello my friend gtargirl Ji,
Fortunately, I enjoyed this game watching, while in Miami area in 2003-04 (sep-mar)
People were mad to witness. It was like a picnic party all over. I further noticed,
though people ate while walking, but they never litter the place with used items by
throwing here and there, at times, i hav eseen people disposing them into their
pockets. may god bless you and have a great time.
