Do You Take Time To Resolve Your Older Discussions?

I know there are many here who are very good with giving out Best Responses in here, and then there are many who do not. I myself am quite behind for sure. If you have not, what is your reasoning behind it, and do you plan on going back in there and catching up? I know for me I Love being given the Best Response. It helps to prove to me that I am still giving interesting responses back in discussions that someone might actually find useful there as well. I know there are days when I am spending a lot of time responding back in here, so when people take time to reward us, that can truly help keep many of us coming back as well. One thing that makes it a lot harder for me is that I try and reward all of the people who are coming in here in my discussions and reading and responding back to one of the discussions if I can as well. That means even if you are a New person or not a friend of mine yet you have a chance for me to respond back to a discussion that you have started and see what you like to talk about in here as well. I would Love to set a Goal for myself this month besides reaching payout of being able to catch up on a lot of my older discussions giving out Best Responses from here. So that means I should hopefully be handing out a lot of Best Responses this month to people, and wonder will you be one of the lucky ones? Wishing you all the Best. ~~TINA~~

I am quite lazy in disposing off and finalising my unresolved discussions. I sometimes forget that I've many unresolved discussions, which need to be sorted out and I am required to choose the best response. I'll take a leaf from your post and start resolving my own discussions, one by one. I also face the same problem, as you do, sometimes more than one response deserves to be rated as the best one, in that case, final selection becomes a difficult task for me.

I am always behind and the Biggest problem sometimes is finding the time. There for a while I was trying to get all caught up on them, and then have not been on here as much as there for a while, so I am behind again for sure.

Yes, time constraints always prevents us from posting our comments to all responses, yet we should make attemtps and I do it, as much as I can.

Hey Tina! I try to make sure that I always finish taking care of all my discussions. I usually will give out the best response in about two weeks time so that I don't forget about doing it. That doesn't mean that I am finished with an older discussion. I have been getting alot of responses to some of my discussions that I started when I first came to mylot 7 months ago. I still respond to those discussions. I feel if people are taking the time to respond it is the least that I can do to show them that I care!

Well, as you can tell I am way behind in handing out Best Responses still even since starting this Discussion. Problem is lately not having the time or feeling like coming in here and posting due to Health issues or other things going on in life. I know that it would be nicer to be more Active in here and catch up again but I will have to play it by ear for sure.

That is the way I have been thinking about this as well. Just wish there was more time to get caught up on this as well.

I have not been that active in here lately due to Health reasons, etc. so I have a ton of unresolved ones for sure, but it would be nice if I could be more like you once I start a New discussion for sure.

When I first came to MyLot I didn't know about the best response. When I learned about marking best responses, from a post much like this one, I went back and did so. Now you are here reminding me about it again. I don't start alot of discussions and when I do I don't choose a best response right away. I want to give plenty of people time to answer, then I forget. So now I know what I need to do, same as you, resolve some discussions.

Personally I continue to feel that it is Best to wait to give out a Best Response as so many people have so many different opinions. The only time anymore it seems that I pick one sooner is if someone right away just gives me a Response that I feel really fits what I am trying to portray and want for a response as well.

No, I don't. At least, not as often as I should. Perhaps this week I will take some time off from actually posting to resolve my unresolved discussions. Thanks for reminding me.

I try to resolve my older discussions. However I would rather there are more then two responses to my discussions. It hurts when I have to give the only response to a discussion of mine a place and if there is anyone out there who stumbles on it and thinks "well she already gave the best response, I do not need to respond to it," then don't. That discussion is still on and I wish you had joined sooner. Most of the time it is something that I really wanted a resolve to, and it hurts me when no one writes. There is one discussion in particular that I want to feel that someone at least cares. I do not have a goal other then to get enough nerve to turn on my notify me if you comment on a response I made to your post. Somehow I am rather nervous to do so.

I have got a few best responses in my day but I do not think it really does add anything to your earnings. I have a lot of unresolved discussions because it is so hard choosing the best response so I leave it as it is. I think a lot of people here at mylot are doing the same thing of not awarding best responses because of how difficult it is.

When I first joined MyLot I worked hard making sure that I resolved all of my discussions (and in those days I started a lot more discussions as well). I loved giving out best responses, but it was often hard to figure out who was the best response. Between figuring out the best response and wanting to give the discussion time...I ended up dropping that. I am grateful that people respond to my discussions and often give great responses...there just are not enough hours in the day/week/month for me to do all that I have to do, to enjoy the little bit of time I have here, and to give out best responses...

I have been absolutely awful in starting discussions and then losing track of them and not marking a best response, but I am slowly sorting it out! I have been getting through them all slowly and I will get there I am sure of it lol!! Sometimes though I set them thinking I will be able to answer everyone and then something will happen at home and I get distracted, so it can be hard sometimes to just keep up with it all.

I've been very bad about keeping up with my discussions, so I've been trying not to start any until I can devote the time to them. I have a few that will be impossible to even respond to all the responses, as they were simplistic questions that were too easy to answer. I'm trying to avoid those now. I'm not sure if I've given best responses. I like to wait a bit to make sure people have the chance to answer, and then I don't always remember to do it. I should, since I received a couple of best responses this week, and it was a nice thing.

I have not been that active in here lately so I am even more behind on giving these out than I was, but I am trying to get caught up in responding back, etc. now as well. It just seems to take so much time and sometimes I know I do not have the time to do this for sure.

Yes, I do take the time to resolve my discussions, I may wait up to 7 days on a topic to see who all adds to it before I give a best response, but I like doing it that way, I like to give it time and then go back and look at the responses again and the discussions I made, if they had alot of responses then I made a good discussion, and there are some that havent gotten many either....LOL

Well, right now since I have to be at home recooperating after having Cataract surgery this morning I am also trying to catch up on some of my older discussions, etc. as well. So maybe I will get some time to resolve some of my older discussions as well.

I do when I have spare time. In fact I gave out a bunch of them lately for discussions I started a few months back with those having few responses. It is easier to start with them! I still have pending best responses to give out specially those with many responses. I still need to go back to each responses before I give them out. So that requires time. I hope I can find time for them soon.

Yeah, I'm not too good about handing out best responses. Though I don't start many discussions. I do good to respond to my friends discussions. Looking forward to see if I get any of your best responses. Best wishes in achieving your goal. I should make payout this month, I am only 50 cents away.

I do try to respond to my topics. I've had some that were over a month old and I will reply to it. Those I'm usually surprised to see them pop back up as I thought that they were resolved. I guess with topics that match that comes up on the side of a topic or someone that may not have been on for awhile where I am on their friends list causes that to happen. For new topics that I have started, I usually try to hang around for another 10 minutes to see if it was replied to. Replying to it keeps it going in the mix. I come back to Mylot inthe morning to see what I am getting in replys and catch up on them from there. DCMerkle

I do take time to resolve my discussions, need three weeks or give a best responses for good responses. I already select 2 best responses for my discussion, and i wait time to resolve my older discussion. This is hard to reward best response all of the people response my discussion, if all responses is good and good quality.
