Tomorrow one of the restaurants is offering free food. Do the restaurants in your area offer free meals? I think its great to see a restaurant realize by offering free food that people will come in and many will purchase something with the food.

That's Denny's, isn't it? We don't have one here, unfortunately, or I'd take advantage of it. I'll call my sons and let them know! I saw that on the SuperBowl last night. It'll be great for the waitresses, too, they may get bigger tips since the food is free!

I think IHOP also is doing the same sort of thing. Tomorrow is I think, National Pancake Day is why these deals are offered. I think all one has to do is purchase a beverage for the free food. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

It is Denny's that is offering a free meal tomorrow. IHOP is offering free food on February 24th. I think this will help get people into my local restaurants. Thanks for replying.

If we had a Denny's or IHOP here, I'd be there! I told my sons and they aren't going, they don't want free food. They're afraid they'll look like moochers.

I wish homeless people knew this. You know, the ones in shelters who are trying to get back on their feet. It would be awesome if they could get a free meal in an actual restaurant. Might make them feel a little better. It isn't a fix for being homeless, but when someone is deprived, don't they feel good when even something good that is small happens?

Someone mentioned Denny's, is that one you are talking about? You know I heard something wild last week. The owner of one of the new Chik-Fil-As around here, has a sister that lives next door to my parents. Her brother recently opened a new one, and promised the first 150 customers would get free chicken nuggets for a year. One coupon per week, for a year, resulting in 52 free chicken nugget meals. And can you believe people camped out? They had a line of people in sleeping bags waiting for the store to open up the next day. The temperature at night got down to 19 F.

I really liked your homeless response and there was a line all the way around the place. There are a lot of people that did visit Denny's. I didn't go, as felt others really needed it. My daughter did stop there, but didn't get in line. Thanks for the reply.

I have only ever seen free food offered by our butchers, just nibbles tho. They cook sausages as they sell a wide variety of them and it gives you chance to try a bit before buying a bundle. Other than that I have seen the buy one meal get 2nd free offers.:)x

No, where do you live? I live in California where nothing is free. In fact, we are going bankrupt thanks to our governor and congress. I think they has this planned. Now, they want to give us IOUs for our tax refunds. No, the only ones who get free meals are kids and this is if their parents purchase a meal first. If you live in the Tarnished State, what city?

I wish more restaurants would offer this. I haven't seen it in awhile in my area. Maybe a free kids meal or something. The way the economy is right now I would think more restaurants would offer this to get the people in the door. I know if I had a restaurant I would offer freebies especially now.
