What does one make as president?

What is the yearly income of Senators, Presidents, and other government types? I know that the president has to pay for the meals he and his family eat, I know that they don't keep much of what they use in office. So, what are the real perks to being in office? So would you do their job for their paychecks?

Here's a list of the salaries. This doesn't include any of the perks they get from various sources. http://www.ntu.org/main/page.php?PageID=23 I honestly wouldn't want their jobs.

The presidents salary doubled from 2000-2001. Crazy. George came in at the right time I guess!

i was told via school book when i was in school (10 plus years ago) that it was 100,000 but they also get like free food, free housing, free clothes, free EVERYTHING and then some so i guess when you add it up then its a good amount.. i think they get 100,000 a year after they stop being president too.. doesnt sound like a lot but the perks are never thought about when you try to figure it

I wouldn't have their job for love or money! But they do get a lot of perks.

Not as many as people think and not all can they keep. Before a recent look into things I thought dinner was on us, but it isn't. They have to pay for their own food. And no, I wouldn't want their job either. Less so with small kids.
