$3000 for a gown.... made of balloons!  

People who have too much money and do not know where to spend it will always buy unnecessary things especially fashionable clothings. At the end of the day it is just left there hanging in the closet waiting to be dumped away when it has gone out of fashion and the value of the gown depreciate and no longer command a good price. I for one could not afford to buy such gown and would only appreciate it from distance. But honestly even I have that money I would think hundred times if I would invest in such a piece of gown which doesn't benefit me in the long run.

I think that's a tragedy, that some people will pay that much money for something so stupid! What a waste! (And I'm not talking about the money... it's a waste of human flesh for someone to be that stupid!)

In today's world, where so many people are "going under" or those who have been hungry their entire lives, to hear that someone would pay $3,000.00 to wear a bunch of balloons is just despicable! Donate that money to a worthy cause, or at least most of it and buy youself something a little more sensible!

It's a crying shame what some people feel they must do to get attention. NO piece of clothing is worth that much! Oh, I know that some clothing costs even more and I find them even more obscene.

Movie actors, sports players, corporate CEO's, they all make way too much money. NO ONE needs that much money, where they can just throw it away on a bunch of balloons to wear only once.

Of course, there are also those of us commoners who "Oooh!" and "Aaah!" over what the celebrities are wearing, eagerly awaiting the newest Hollywood event or celebrity magazine to come out. (I am most definitely NOT one of them!)

No, that kind of thing hurts my soul. It makes me want to become even more of a hermit! So many people are struggling so hard, just to have those 'ends' not meet, when here comes someone in a $3,000.00 balloon gown.

You know what I'd want to do? Take a pin and... I think you can guess the rest!

I have seen a similiar article in the newpaper 2 days back.. hehe ^_^ It's really amazing and actually the gown looks really nice and unique.. I like the color of it as it's in a mixture of ocean blue and green.. hehe ^_^

For $3000, i wont mind paying for that, just to wear it once, because it's a completely different experience.. Life is about trying and be more adventurous.. haha =D Do u know that there's also a dress made from condoms?? lol =D

I don't think I will dare to wear this gown as it is made of balloons. I am afraid they will be broken and I will be quite scared:) I don't know how to sit down when I wear this gown.

with my luck i would wear one and some one would hug me with pointy jewelry on and it would pop all of them and then i would be standing there naked lol

It has been proven many times over that some people have more money than they do sense. I think I would be able to better find a use for my $3000 dollars than blow it (no pun intended) lol on balloons. I would like to go to that party with a pin though. They say money travels fast can you even imagine how fast that would go. LOL
