hello everybody here at Mylot. well after getting our central heat and air conditioner fixed yesterday, it gets to seventy degrees here in Middle Tennessee today. lol figures, right? but i am so glad that our heater is fixed and is working properly again, it is just the first of February and we'll probably be needing that heater again before the nice days of Spring approach us. so tell me, have you ever gotten something fixed that was broken, to find out that you do not need to use it right away? thanks for sharing and have a beautiful afternoon.

Ok so myLot is not working right on my end right now. I typed up a long response to this discussion and guess it went to myLot heaven. It's gone. Yes this has happened to me in the past with our air conditioner. It was hot and then cooled off. Our air went out so we fixed it and a good thing because it was hot once again. This kind of weather happens alot in Missouri. Very changeable weather. It was 60 degrees here yesterday and just beautiful. Today it's in the 30's and our furnace keeps kicking on. You'll probably need heat again before Spring arrives in Tennessee. You got a real bargain with the price to repair it.

I slept like a baby - Isn't it lovely to see babies sleep. No worries in the world and trusting us to care for them. I remember my mother when she would hold me in her arms..what comfort.
Hey..that is nice to get air conditonning. Well it is so nice here today that I closed the furnace and opened all the windows to let the fresh winter warm air in the house. Did the cats ever love that! And me too..it was wonderful and of course I went to do my barefeet snow walking..yep you read right..I snow walk barefeet when it is warm..it is very good for your health..then when I come in, I put my feet is warm water for awhile, then rub them good with warm olive oil..and wear wool lamb socks. Trust me when you do that you are caring for the roots just like a tree..and it cares for your whole system. My mother always made us do that..so everyone around us were sick..we weren't and she made us wear camphor with other herbs in a pouch around our necks. I remember only once being sick with a cold..that is because my mother gave us some creme de menthe..a mint tasting alchol drink with honey..well my mother had left the pot in the room..so guess what I did..hahaha soon my mother heard me singing away..I was drunk as a souse hahahaha. They all laughed and my mother didn't punish me or scold me because she said she new when I woke up in the morning I would be suffering enough. hahaha.. Glad you having a great time...so did I today..rignt now am making a macaronie with sauce and a whole onion and portobello mushrooms..yummmmmmmmy.

Hahaha that's very often the case! If you hadn't had it repaired it would have been cold today. Same thing ahppened to me a couple of years ago. I have a small apartment and I use a mobile airconditioner. I had it serviced and re-filled and was all prepared for a hot summer like the one before when it was not functioning properly. Of course that summer was much cooler and I haven't had it on at all yet!

Yes, i have also gotten a heater fixed just to not need it. It is usually hot and humid here most of the year. I really enjoy it when the few weeks of cold weather actually come to visit. This year it has been better as far as our winter has gone. We have had several cold days and nights, which i am glad to see. Right now it feels like summer outside.

Hi Tnwoman! Glad to know that your heaters has been fixed. Our rice cooker was broken one morning and I was not able to have it fixed until late in the evening. It really was a little frustrating since rice is our staple food and I don't feel satisfied with having meals without any cooked rice. Glad it was fixed though later that evening. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Do not get too comfy with this late January thaw, there is a lot of cold weather yet to come and you were lucky you did not need it right away. I cannot recall having something fixed that I did not need right away. Keep warm.

Well ,I think majority of the people dont fix something which is broken to use them later.Whenever the need is there they try to fix it then. But the drawback to those who fix them when they need it is that the instrument which is broken if not fixed right away might get damaged when not in use.Its always better to fix them right away whether they use it or not.
