What do you usually wear at the beach?

I know most people especially at the West, wear swimsuit when going to the beach but honestly, I have tried wearing swimsuit only once and that's the time that we are really required by our teachers to wear it for our swimming lesson. At the beach, I usually wear plain shirt and shorts.

usually if i don't have plans on swimming, i just wear skimpy shorts and spaghetti blouses. otherwise, i wear my 2 piece suit with a cover up. :-)

It depends if I'm going to be getting wet. Sometimes if I know I won't be going in the water, I'll just wear shorts and a tanktop. Most of the time I wear my swimsuit, but wear a cover over it or wear shorts and a tanktop over it. I don't usually just walk around in my swimsuit if I'm not swimming.

Well being a man though, I don't have a courage of wearing swimming trunks.I prefer what they called "boarding shorts"? Yes...I feel uncomfortable wearing swimming trunk...he he he happy

Usually i wear, shorts and hanging blouses or sometimes sleeveless.

I dont wear swimsuits coz i don't want to be totally dark LOL

I think your discussion is intended for girls/women.............LOL!
I would wear sorts if I am enjoying on a beach..........I love to go to sea beaches and enjoy myself, it is another matter that I live in a land-locked city and sea is far far away many hundred kilometers away from my home.

yes, you're right..before we moved in to our hometown, our house is far from the sea and I would really dream about going there, but then when we finally moved there, and the beach is just a block away, it seems like, I got used to it and not really that eager to go there the way it used to be.

Indeed, when a thing is available to us easily and just for the asking, its loses its importance, undoubtedly. That is why sea beach does not look very important to you.

I use only shorts costume, as bcoz i am male, so i not getting any shy or hesitage to what should i wear.
Female feel really shy when they wear swim suits at swimming pool or at beach.
I personally had this problems as my family females are also shyful. They nomally wear T-Shirts and Slaks at beach.

hehehe..i guess asian women are shy in terms of wearing swimsuits. We are brought up to be conservative.

I usually wear my normal clothes in the beach thumbup .formal shirts and pants.Now i am thinking of a new style.I will wear a T shirt with jeans on the beach.I will also wear slippers so that i can walk easily on the sand of the beach.Shoes and socks are irritating to wear.As we have to take it out and wear again. happy happy

When i go out to a beach in my native place.Since every thing is planned suddenly.I don't have the dresses to wear.I enjoy in the beach with formals and then come home and put it for a wash.

I wear a swimsuit at the beach, that's the all point to go to the beach, to get the sun and relax. Sometimes when I am at the beach with my boyfriend I take my top off to get my back suntanned completely. Nothing to hide really.
