There are so many different supplements available all claiming to help this or that. Some of the names I am familiar with (though I couldn't tell you what they do) are ginseng, ginko biloba, echinacea, fish oil, and St john's Wort, just to name a few. I was just wondering if you took any of these(or others not listed) and what it is supposed to be good for, and if you have seen any improvements from taking these?

I am taking Vit C supplements right now. I don't see any changes, but I hope they do improve my immune system.

Honestly? I do not take herbal supplements. But, i think its the safest way how to treat your diseases and sickness. Herbal supplements are the natural ways and no chemicals are in it.


For sure, Ill take herbal supplements if I need them. =)

I don't take any herbal supplements. I have taken St. John's Wort in the past, but I don't think it really did anything. I don't know about the others you have listed. They may or may not work.

Yes I am confused about all those supplements and I must say I dont take them or trust them to do what they.I think a lot of it is commercial static intended to sell products.If I decide to take any of thes products it will be ginko baloba though.Good discussion

Yes, I take herbal supplements and do see improvements. Herbs are the main way I treat myself when I am sick. They are much better than synthetic drugs with worse side effects than the problem you are treating.
Asprin originally came from the bark of the White Willow tree. It is amazing how nature can heal.

there are many ailments,which allopathy doesnt cure,but there are improvements with ayurvedic or homeopathic medicines.i do take herbal supplements,they donot have any side-effects although it takes time for the result to be seen.

I have tried herbalife before and I like it. I tried to deal before and was enjoying selling it since a lot of my friends see also the good effects on it...but I stopped now and I stopped taking too!

I quit my job and can't afford anymore! LOL!

As of present I'm taking Vitamin c which is Fern-C.
I feel that it really improves my strengths and stamina.
I'm no longer feel weak and sluggish. It is effective
at least for me.happy

my son does it all the time. i keep telling him thats no safer than some drugs. because i've heard of problems with st. johns wort and echinacea being mixed with other meds, etc. one woman i heard was taking ginko biloba or something and had bleeding ulcers. it caused her to nearly bleed to death. i've heard st.johns has messed up people nerves even tho its supposed to calm them. i warn my son all the time but he constantly takes herbals of all kindssad

I agree with you completely. If he is taking quite a few herbal medications I would have him talk to a doctor, or at least an herbalist to see if any of the ones he's taking interact badly just with each other.

Well, over the yrs, I have been known to try many of the different herbal remedies out there, and many of them have given me interesting results as well. I have even tried many thru the Health and Wellness sites online where you can earn extra $$ from as well. I have definately been able to see some interesting results from a lot of the different things I have tried as well.

Some of the better ones though for me, if you suffer from problems and not a Big fan of prescriptions is Fever Few which helps for Migraines, and Echinachea which helps for Colds, sore throats, etc. and then what I mostly use now is Xango which I currently am a Distributor with, which has helped with my Arthritis, skin conditions due to being Diabetic etc. So for me, I am a Big fan or natural stuff for sure. Just need to remember that not everything out there will usually work the same way for someone else out there as well.
