We are having Pork chops, shells and cheese, and a salad. My husband requested it last night, so it made it easy.

Oh, it is usually a toss up. It depends on what I thaw out the night before, if remember to even do that. On most nights, we eat a beef or chicken meals. Sometimes I will bake a potato or two or make rice. I am not a fan of eating salads in the winter as salads, to me, are more of a Summer lunch or meal item. Tonight, I will probably keep it easy and have a Hebrew National hot dog.

Those are good. I like to cut them in half , add cheese and wrap with bacon and then bake in the oven for a lil while. Its really good...I hate it when I forget to thaw something out....ugh

Hi eaforeman! I do love what you are cooking but I am preparing a different dish. I am cooking rice, milkfish boiled in vinegar, ginger, seasonings, ginger and eggplant. I do like this kind of dish but it is not really my favorite. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

milkfish - kind of fish found in the Philippines
Hi dear! Milkfish or "bangus" (local term) is a marine delicacy long prized for its rich milky taste here in our country. It can grow up to a meter long but usually milkfish sold in the market here is only 1-2 feet long. They are being cultivated nationwide as it is one of the most popular fish being consumed by the population here. There are a lot of different preparations of this fish we enjoy such as stuffed milkfish wherein we deboned it first and put back its meat back mixed with raisins, carrots, red/green pepper, tomato, onions and whatever one wishes to add. Then it will be fried or others will grill it. lovelots..faith

I am having a chicken curry, because I have been at the gym training today, chicken is an ideal protein for repairing my torn muscles! It's a nice warm dish too, I like mild curry with plain boiled rice, it's not home made but it's quality and it's filling and very tasty, full of meaty chicken chunks yum! Washed down with a pint of milk with strawberry syrup, it's one of my favourite meals, although the best curry I've had is a chicken and pineapple curry with coconut, that was dreamy, simply heaven!

I actually made a chicken patty and had it as a sandwich. I spread some really good toast with guacamole and had the chicken in between. As a side I had salsa and tortilla chips. The really good bread and the guacamole and the salsa are all favorites for me.

I am also having chicken. It is one of my favourite meals. I have already roasted it and I will have it with herb and onion stuffing, roast potatoes, carrots and mushy peas. For dessert, I am having apple pie and custard with a good dollop of fresh cream on top. I will have to go walking afterwards to try to burn up all the calories so let's hope the weather stays dry.
