I found this article online that woman who has excess fat in the abdomen has a very high risk for heart diseases and certain cancers here is the link to the article http://www.hopkinsmedicin... few days ago, while I was inside the grocery, there was a dietitian there so I consulted and I was advised to do exercise at least 10-15 minutes a day. Which I think is enough time even if I'm working. No I'm not gonna say my waistline LOL. But it's above the limit. So to my fellow women, if your waistline is more than 35 better start exercising for a healthy living! If any of you has anything that you guys do that makes you fit please do share as well..

Hi yuna15! haha..Alright my friend, I won't insist on asking about your waistline. wink I am trying to trim down on my waistline too but I am kind lazy in doing exercises for the tummy. lol..I think my house chores every morning is enough exercise for me at the moment but I am still trying to find some time to do some brisk walking..maybe, in the near future I can really do that. Every morning, I sweep and clean the front and back yard, weed the plants, do some gardening and water the plants which consumes at least two hours. I really sweat from this chore and I enjoy it. After the yard and garden, I clean our house. That made me lose pounds and I did cut on my rice intake too.

Your infomation is correct.But the women like your description have to do exercise not 10-15 minutes,but at least for half an hour.It's better to walk in open air
in the early morning or evening.At the same time foods with fat and red meats should be avoided.In the food items vegetables and fruits have to be included.

I was talking about myself. I have a job and I don't have much time even for an exercise but 10-15 minutes will work for me. thumbup

I really do need to exercise but with my limitations I find it very painful. I have been doing stretches, though, and it feels good. I do what I can but that's not much. I'm just glad I'm still able to get around on my own!

This information came out several years ago, I've been measuring my belly every month on the first Monday since that time. I've been able to keep it under 35 inches since that time. The Flat Belly Diet helped me.

Not only do I have an over sized waist, but also an over sized hip, and an over sized bosum. In fact, they are all in proportion. I got it down to 38, the waist that is, but it took me a long time to get it even that low. My father was also diabetic, and I suspect if my mother had lived long enough, she would have gotten diabetes too so I got it five years earlier, that is now, and only after I lost some weight. Really they call it metabolic syndrome. and I blame it all on that trans fats they put in our diets and those corn syrup products they add in stuff now, because years ago we did not have that problem.
Why my grandmother ate suet puddings and all that fatty stuff and she was very healthy when she died just before her ninetieth birthday.
Oh and ten to fifteen minutes of exercise is not enough. Maybe an hour or so,walking and fast exercises that is hard for some of us.

Any time you get overweight and past a certain age your chances for sickness increases.
That statistic is just a reflection of that.
It could hardly mean that all women with fat waists are going to have heart problems.

There are a lot of natural things people can do to get a little exercise in their lives and not take up a lot of time. For example when you go shopping park a long distance from the store so you actually have to walk to the store and back to the car instead of parking right up close. You can walk up the flights of stairs in the buildings that have more than one story. Pass that elevator and use those legs and other muscles. Walking is a great exercise and should be implemented in any exercise program. Even though any exercise is good exercise you will get much higher rewards if you exercise for at least 30 minutes at a time even if it is only 3 or 4 times a week. Another tip is to exercise with someone else. It is always much more fun if you have a friend or relative to work out with. Personally I go to the gym five days a week for a few reasons. I don't have room for all the equipments I like to use in my home and I use it to organize my day. It is certainly something that is inconvenient but so is having a heart attack and laying up in the hospital bed with tubes in your nose and mouth. Your health should be primary for you and for your family.
