One of the Two Best Bands Ever...Coincidence?

I think it's odd that (arguably) the two best bands ever were The Beatles and Pink Floyd. I mean musically, speaking in terms of discipline and studio magic, these two bands are unmatched. The strange thing is that they have so much in common and in fact used to record right next to each other, often borrowing stuff from each other. Both bands are often regarded as being perfect in some aspect. There is definately something otherworldly about each band. Does anyone have any other similarities or odd coincidences between these two giants that they would like to share?

The Beatles and Pink Floyd are the two band is very great. Two bands become legends in the music industry. Paul McCartney (Beatles) and David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) have worked together on the song No More Lonely Night that was one of the best songs owned by Paul McCartney.

I agree that both are great legends but did you know that David Cassidy outdid them both in popularity? whether you liked him or didn't like him...he was bigger than the beatles back in the day. Over time tho I have to agree...the popularity of the beatles and pink floyd as well as lasted longer than that of David Cassidy. The test of time is what counts, I guess.
