I don't quite understand what you mean by saying that those movies are too controversial... they are both R rated movies, and I think that a comedy/ drama kind of movie doesn't need an R rating to be good, in fact I think it really brings it down. One that really bugged me with that, was "Zak and Miri make a Po rno". Every single line in the movie, had virtually nothing to do with the plotline, but rather was just a sick joke with no meaning behind it and nothing towards the story. I was also really bugged by the movie, "Push", because the lead actress in the movie is 14 year old Dakota Fanning, and she wears a tiny skirt through the movie, and spreads her legs for the camera, and seems to get drunk at one point... if that had happened in movies around 1960 or previous, it would have been given either an R or an X rating, and wouldn't be allowed in the theatre because of the se x ual content with young women. It's just awful the way this world is going... just gotta keep away from the bad parts.

Sorry for the spaces in a couple of the words, but mylot told me that my post was too graphic to have on this page. Isn't that funny? Have a young girl spread her legs on camera, 14A, make intelligent reference to film , R rated.

I haven't seen knocked up but i saw and like Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It obviously isn't suitable for children but I've seen worse. I think those Kevin Smith movies are a lot worse than Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Kevin Smith has just gone that way now, because it's the way people seem to want their movies. His best one was "Dogma" from the 90s, and in that, there is very little language or graphic scenes... I think the worst is a monster that makes himself out of poop... but even that works well with the storyline and characters! See his earlier films, then you'll see why he can still come out with movies today, even if they're terrible.

Hmmm...I'm perplexed...Forgetting Sarah Marshall- Controversial, is it?
I do not know that, but tell, what makes you state that. Both are good movies
