[Debate] Divine Creation Theory or Evolution Theory

While watching StumbleUpon videos I have noticed many examples of human artifacts found in different locations embedded in rock that is millions of years old. This is not just one example but hundreds, and found in diverse countries around the world. many of these examples are from civilizations that worked with iron, rather than stone, copper, or bronze. There are countless specimens locked up in storage rooms in almost every museum world wide. The reason these specimens are not investigated is because of the influence religion has on human thinking. If its not a popular theory no one wants to spend any time on it. My side of the debate is on Science. The only answer I can come up with is, There have been many advanced civilizations on this earth. One of these that comes to mind is Atlantis which existed on large islands in the Atlantic ocean thousands of years ago. Another is the land of Mu in the Pacific. Humans have been on earth many thousands of years longer than we think. Its time more research was done along this line of thought.

for me, i still think there's a God who's watching over us. you can believe on science or you can believe on a God, it doesn't matter what religion. we have not seen how monkey became human, we also have not seen God personally so it depends on faith and what you choose to believe in. i feel there's more purpose and happiness in my life with God, someone that leads me to do things in a good way, someone who teaches me that material things are not the most important in life but on how we deal with our family and friends and even with strangers. but i don't think badly of those who believe in science. that is their belief and i respect that.

I've never heard intelligent design called "Divine creation theory" before. I find it amusing, especially the "theory" part. I'll be civil, however, and won't tear into the misuse of the word "theory".

I accept the theory of evolution because I have seen the facts, researched the studies, and see no other reasonable alternative.
