Proverb

When in College many years ago my liberal friends had this Proverb that they felt we should all strive to follow.
Give a Man a fish and he will eat for a day,
Teach him to fish and he will eat for ever,
and some added this
Teach him to plant trees and he will plan for generations.
It seems to me that under President Obama we age getting back to give the man a fish instead of teaching him to plant trees. Depend on the government to help you out when you make a bad decision.

All this will do is increase the people who have that Entitlement Mentality.
When you have welfare so easy to get, and you have so many depending on the government, at what point does the system collapse under all the drag created by so many dependent on the government?
Our economy is already being dangerously strained by medicare and medicaid... not to mention social security, which I depend on because of my disability... a fact which I hate with a passion.
At what point does the strain prove too much... and where do we go from there?
From some reading I have done recently... this is deliberate in order to force us into socialism, and it has been in the works since the 60's.
It sounds crazy, but it looks to be the case.
