|  yes. i just read it on MSN today, courtesy of guy ritchie's news regarding about his divorce with Madonna, that Robert Downey Jr is set to play the famous Detective Sherlock Holmes and Ritchie, of course, is the director.
along side, Jude Law will play Dr Watson - Holmes' side kick.
after the success of Iron Man, which I could say revived Downey's career, i think he will be perfect one for Sherlock Holmes.
before, when i first heard that he will play Iron Man, i just couldn't picture him with the character because all i could think about was actors like James Marsden or young actors like the guy who play the lead in John Tucker. but when i saw the film, I was mesmerized. he did it so well that i watched it for four times. and even bought a DVD copy.
if only minus the drugs, Downey could by far surpass Brad Pitt's fame. i think he's one of the best and respected actors in hollywood - alongside with johnny depp. =)

| |  I will have to watch this. after all if you watched it four times AND bought the DVD it must be good. Right? I like Robert Downey Jr. but I am not familar with James Marsden. I also agree if it would not be for his past chemical addiction Downey could surpass Pitt. I never have been a Pitt fan to tell you the truth but aside from his infidelity issue with Anniston he does seem to remain pretty clean cut.

| |  Oh now that is a good idea! I think that Iron Man revived his career as well. I really like him as an actor. I was very excited to see how pumped up he got for Iron Man. I will be looking for this movie to make its way to my screen! Oh and yes Johnny Depp is totally HOT!!!
