Is it true? | | I learnt from a website that many martial arts including Karate, Kung Fu have their origin in India. It seems that the Indian martial art "Kalari" (from Kerala) was spread to many other nations by means of Buddhism. Is it true?

I honestly find it all quite fascinating how cultures have influenced each other, especially in terms of philosophy and religions. It seems that at the end of the day, though, it all comes down to the old question, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" I don't think we will ever really know, but it's fun to ponder!
